getting pregnant tips?
my girlfriend and I are trying for a second child, she was on contraception for a few years and we've been trying for the last 12 months but no success so far, some friends of ours seem to be able to get pregnant quickly, is there anything (apart from the obvious) that can help the success?

3 AnswersMazda10 years agopotential track car, just a bit of fun or total waste of money?
ok, so I've had a couple of cars over the last few months as "projects", cars that I had as a young lad and now older was reliving my youth a bit, astra gte, escort xr3i and most recently golf gti 16v. Sold the cars and now have been offered a 2000 fiesta zetec s which has been modified for track days. It's quite cheap (under £300) but needs a little work (exhaust blowing), holes in floor, but comes with proper rollcage, track wheels etc. etc. Am I buying a lot of fun to put round a novice track on a weekend or am I buying a load of scrap (even at £300). Cheers!

27 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agomk2 astra running problem?
i've got a mk2 astra 1600cc carb, just had it restored (mainly bodywork), passed it's MOT no problems. Since i've had it back from the garage it seems really "flat", best way to describe it is as if the brakes are binding, which they are not because the brakes are okay and passed MOT. Feel it could be blocked carbs, have been advised to use some Redex in the next tank of fuel but other petrol head friends say redex doesn't do much. Put a new air filter on which hasn't cleared the problem, it used to be quite nippy (i know it's only a 1600) but i reckon a 1.0L micra would kill me at the moment!!! Idles ok, revs through the range ok, Ideas on what it could be?
1 AnswerVauxhall Opel1 decade agoebay dispute problem question?
ok, so I sold an item which the buyer said was not as described, he actually asked me detail about the item in the messages section AFTER he paid. I agree that I did not describe the item to his liking so he opened a dispute against me. According to ebay (and most uk consumer) policy, the buyer is entitled to a refund once the item is returned, fine. I email the buyer, quite politely, saying return the item to me and I will refund. He then wants the original postage back plus his costs to send it back to me. I agree to the original costs but not for him to return it to me. Nothing. I email ebay saying I'm quite happy to refund but to date he's not returned my item so I can refund. Next thing I get an email from ebay saying the case is closed and they've refunded out of my account so now I have no money and no item. If you go to Asda or Tesco's do they refund my petrol money to return the item, no? Do they refund me and allow me to keep the item? No. There's very few mail-order companies out there that will refund return costs so why have ebay done this? What legal rights do I have as I am without (quite an expensive) item and my money...surely this isn't right? HELP!?
3 AnswersSmall Business1 decade agoebay listing question?
so ive listed my car on ebay this evening as a "classified ad" (fixed price listing as opposed to an auction), it appears in my ebay but not on any search? how long does it take for ebay to make this listing active? I've paid etc, seems unfair that the listing isn't instant? tar!
4 AnswersBuying & Selling1 decade agobest way to sell a car on ebay (uk)?
wondering what's the best way to sell my car on ebay. It's a classic convertible, so right time of year I'm guessing. Ebay (uk) give me 3 options:-
1. Auction - cheapest way but seems to attract people who think they can buy a car for £100(!)
2. Buy-it-Now - fixed price with a "best offer" option
3. Classified Ad - just like advertising on autotrader/gumtree etc.
Buying & Selling1 decade agocar insurance question no claims bonus?
so, i went onto the website with the annoying singing fat man, got a reasonable quote for my classic car, declared all cars in my household, one of which is a company car with 2 years NCB. Paid the deposit and remainder was to be paid monthly by direct debit. After a couple of weeks now they've written to me wanting proof of the NCB I stated, wanting details of the previous insurance and policy number. So, I email them (as they stated in the letter that this would be the quickest way to resolve and avoid having my policy cancelled) saying the NCB was on company insurance rather than another private insurance which i think they assume I have (the option on NCB on the website included NCB on company cars), no response to my email, so I send another, now I've had a red coloured letter threatening cancellation of my insurance unless I provide the information. Tried phoning and it's either constantly engaged or answer phone. Emailed for a third and final time and put a copy of the email in the post with no response. I feel I have been totally mislead by assuming I have NCB on my company car policy, so, should they decide to cancel my policy can I get my deposit and 1st month's payment back? Citizens advice has told me that the policy was misleading and was not as described so I should be due a refund but how can I expect to get this if I cannot contact them? HELP and advice please!

put my car on ebay...it's a cabriolet classic, had 64 watchers and not one of them bid on the final minutes when it ended this evening, why would this be? I understand some people may just be interested in seeing how much it sells for but 64 people doing the same thing or is ebay just a total waste of time to sell cars these days...baffled.

ok, so i put something on ebay for 99p start with a £100 buy-it-now, i pay for the listing fee and i pay for the privelage of the buy-it-now option, this I understand HOWEVER as soon as someone bids, the buy-it-now option i.e. £100 in this case disappears, but I have paid for this option, surely this isn't right?
