I am trying to create a static IP address, but whenever I put the DNS servers from the cmd IP config into the TCP IP settings, it wont work.

Any suggestions on what I should do?

A pen exploded in our dryer a few days ago and everything I have tried has not worked.

Is there an easily accessible product out there that would be good for this? Any suggestions are welcome

put in my Linksys router (wrt54G), and tried to create the static ip address. Ran into problems when i tried to put in the DNS server numbers. Everything else works fine, even when i change the ip address but cant figure out why the DNS server numbers dont work

On my Triniton Sony TV, all of a sudden, by the power button, there is a blinking light in the spot where it says standby/timer. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get it out of standby? Because the tv is in standby, I cannot turn it on anymore.. Should there be a button on my remote somewhere? I can't go behind to look at the tv because the back is unreachable at the moment.

Any suggestions?

Okay, of course there have been no rumors going around with this, but I just don't see how this wouldnt be a great deal for both teams. The trade could go something like this:

Suns Get:

Wally (expiring contract)

Snow (expiring contract)

a 1st or 2nd round pick

Cavs get:

Shaq

The Suns have already publicly said that they might be looking to rebuild, so the two expiring contracts are very very valuable to them next year. Amare (the franchise player) is unhappy with the new offensive scheme and doesnt like sharing the post with Shaq. If they got rid of Shaq, they can go back to not playing D and the run & gun offense.

The Cavs absolutely need a force inside on the defensive end. We get murdered night in and night out when the elite big men come to town (howard, gasol, garnett, duncan, etc) Shaq can shut most of these guys down in the low post. You saw the game Sunday afternoon, the Cavs got out-rebounded to hell because they couldn't box-out, Shaq could fix that.

The Cavs also need a low post scoring option. Shaq is putting up great numbers this year, and the type of offense the Cavs play (halfcourt) fits Shaqs needs a lot better than the situation he's in now.

Shaq has made public that he will retire within the next two years (2010) so his contract will be off the books in time for the Cavs to get an elite free agent in the market for Lebron before his contract is up.

I know I am not a GM obviously and the salary figures and whatnot could be off with the trade, but why isn't this being considered as an option?

I am making a project where the user puts their name and sales amount in two different text boxes, and it gives the amount of other things such as commission, deductions, net pay, etc.

If the user does not put a name into either of the first two text boxes, an error message must come up.

I got the sales textbox error message to work:

But when I try the same thing for the name textbox, it does not work. I am not sure what to put in the Try area of the code.

For instance:

I probably am not making myself clear enough to answer this, but I just don't understand what to put under the "Try" area of my script in order for it to catch the error.

I am working on a simple project where I make a car move in different directions and at different speeds. I have figured all of that out but have a really big problem.

My teacher wants me to have the car wrap around when it reaches the end of the screen. For instance, if the car went all the way in the up direction out of the screen, he wants it to come from the bottom of program. And if it goes all the way in the left direction out of the screen, he wants it to reappear from the right side, moving left still.

Is there a common chain of commands or script that could help me accompish this? I know I am being very broad in this, but I don't know how to explain it better. I am very baffled on how I am ever going to accomplish this.

I know it might involve using Me.Width and Me.Height, but I am unsure on how to begin at all.

Isn't it amazing how much change can be induced from one single player in the NFL getting hurt for one single season?

1. Ticket sales for Patriot games

Brady going down for the year will probably imply a substantial ticket sale loss for the Patriots organization, along with a huge loss of Patriot team revenue in 2008.

2. The Patriot team dynamic

You know that when Brady went down, so did the morale of the entire Patriot team. It's amazing how much worth one player may have to his entire team.

3. The Patriots playbook

Now that Brady has gone down, the entire Patriots playbook needs to be re-worked towards a more conservative gameplan, involving more work from Maroney and the other tailbacks that was not seen a year ago.

4. The AFC race

With Brady going down (one person) for the year, the entire AFC race has shifted completely. Those mediocre teams in the AFC East now have a chance to make the playoffs and win the division. Not only this, but a new team from the AFC is bound to emerge as the AFC champion, something we are not very used to.

While these are not the only things that Brady's injury has effected, there are some main points presented.

Isn't it amazing how much damage one man's injury can cause to an entire team, and how much change in the game itself it brings about?

Would you consider that staff to be the greatest since smoltz/glavine/maddux?

I can only imagine what they could have accomplished with 3 15+ game winners
