I have someone who is wanting to secretively access my laptop. They are hoping to find signs of online chatting. This morning I turned on my computer to run my various scans and found that this persons pc was trying to access my computer through Windows Media. I denyed the access as I was given the option but I'm very upset about this. If anyone knows, please tell me...is it possible for someone to do this? I have no privacy. Can past deleted chats through any of the instant messaging sites like yahoo, google or msn chat or even the chats with friends through other sites like Facebook and Myspace be dug up? What can I do to protect my privacy and prevent this person from invading my privacy anymore?

Does anyone know of somewhere in Michigan where I can buy some glass landscaping mulch? Ordering out of state would be way too expensive for me. I'm thinking about asking a few landscape companies if they might be willing or able to order some in.

HELP! Has anyone else had to write an essay on this authors story "The Lottery", NOT the Shirley Jackson one? I have my opening paragraph and my thesis but I'm confused how to begin the successive paragraphs. Any sincere help would be so appreciated.

I've been married 18 yrs. throughout our marriage I've had many troubles with my husband's controlling nature. He's more fearful of more things than anyone I know and I often feel like the "man of the house". He is insecure to the max, especially with me. He is very motivated when it comes to his dreams, his needs, his wants and his aspirations yet has NEVER and I mean NEVER supported me in any of the above. Having 4 children together he has always supported our family being a one income family so I could be the stay at home mom (keeping him feeling more secure) but this has seriously handicapped me as a woman and has left me in a year round state of insecurity financially as well as emotionally. He plays childish games when we're not getting along and withholds affection as well. We live more like siblings than partners. I want to goto college with my 17 yr. old this year but knowing this he is trying to keep my son from registering!!!! Selfish. Leaving is not an option.

I absolutely LOVE amusement parks. I'm married and my husband who doesn't share my passion graciously accompanies me year after year as well as my 4 kids (3 teenagers & 1 elementary). You'd think that after 17 yrs. of going with me it wouldn't be such a fight to get them to actually go ON the rides worth going on. It's so frustrating and ruins the day. Husband hasn't gone on a "new" coaster in like 10 yrs. let alone a new ride. Finally my daughter has overcome her fear and enjoys riding with me as does one of my sons but the rest of them all hate going and it makes me feel bad like I'm being selfish. What do the rest of you out there do with fear driven people you can't leave home?

Anyone out there hear about or participating in Oprah's "new religion" classes...I'm a Christian & have nothing to do with it but wanting to hear about what others are making of this ridiculous stuff. A friend of mine has been forwarding me the "teachings" and wow are they stupid.

This question is for Christians only please...are there any out there besides me who have experienced attending a church that had gone through a change in "pastors", not priests and the new pastor that comes in purposely drives out members of the existing congregation in order to get in a mostly new congregation that will "agree" with everything he is doing regardless of the reality that he's tearing apart the existing congregation. This happened in our old church and over 3/4 of the original congregation was scattered due to this man.

Since I've been reading here on R & S it seems that this is more of a forum for Atheists to bash everyone who does not share their views while accusing everyone who does have a belief of being stupid for choice of a better term.
