Why do only the ugliest most functional bras exist in sizes over DD?
I can't seem to ever find any bras in the DDD size that aren't super plain or just downright ugly looking. Why doesnt any make the same fun and flirty bras for those sizes?
3 AnswersFashion & Accessories9 years agoHow much does a tooth extraction typically cost?
Our 7 month old puppy was recently at the vet for a small cough when the vet noticed that two of his baby canines hadn't fallen out yet even though the main ones had already grown in. She told me to give it a couple months to see if they fall out on their own and if not we may want to get them extracted.
So my question is, how much does it typically run to get a canine tooth extracted in a dog just so I know what to expect should we do this?
7 AnswersDogs10 years agoConcerned about puppy's socialization?
We adopted our new puppy from the shelter at about 10 weeks of age and at the shelter he seemed very outgoing and playful. He is like this still with us and with people he has time to warm up to but random strangers out on the streets cause fearful behaviors. Since he's only had 2 out of 3 rounds of his puppy shots I'm limited to the places I can take him and have only carried him through stores or sat him on my lap outside shopping areas and allowed strangers to give him small treats. We also brought him to a small party at my parents house but he still seems fearful toward new people. We also don't know anyone with children so I dont know how I can expose him to that in a positive way. Is it normal for a young puppy to be so fearful and will he outgrow it in time if I keep this up or do I need to be doing something different?
7 AnswersDogs10 years agoHow is my current stocking?
I have a 20G freshwater tank. Here is what is currently in it:
3 black neon tetras
3 long fin rosy barbs
1 Blue Ram
1 mediumish sized albino shrimp (2-3x as big as a typical ghost shrimp)
Any suggestions would be appreciated especially in regards to over/under stocking. I was thinking of adding another 2 black neons.

3 AnswersPsychology1 decade agoQuestion on feeder fish and Oscars?
I've heard the most of the goldfish kept in stores as feeders can be dieased and not nutrionally beneficial for Oscars. Are there other fish that can be used as feeders like fancy guppies or zebra danios or even feeder goldfish as an occasional snack, like once every few months? Would a one time or occasional feeding really be that dangerous? If so is there another live food alternative?
2 AnswersFish1 decade agoStocking suggestions for a S.A. Cichlid setup?
I have a 55 gallon aquarium that I have yet to setup but I would like to have a S.A. cichlid tank and I was looking for some possible suggestions. Also some resources I can use for designing the tank would be useful too.
I know I would like 1 small oscar to start (I also know they grow) but I was wondering what other cichlids I could keep in a tank that size with the oscar.
2 AnswersFish1 decade agoWould this constitute animal cruelty in Illinois?
I know of a person who frequently keeps his dog confined to a basement room with no other human or dog interaction for all but 2 hours or so a day and than yells at or even strikes the dog when it has a bowel movement inside after all that time. The dog also gets very few walks and is a young, energetic breed. Could this classify as a case of animal cruelty under Illinois law?
2 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoTips on impulse control training?
I'm not sure if this is even possible at this point but I'm currently living with a roommate who owns a pit bull/mastiff mix thats about 1.5-2 years old. I myself own three cats. Prior to moving in, this roommate claimed their dog was good with cats however that has not turned out to be the case. We've installed a gate to keep the two seperate but whenever the chance arises the dog will go after the cats. I'm not sure its entirely aggressive in nature but its still a 60+lb dog trying to pounce on a 10lb cat like its a chew toy, accidents happen even if not intended.
Now I noticed the dog has a tendency to fixate on the stairs that lead to where we keep the cats and if you yell at him he looks away or will try to casually walk over to sneak a peek, all which tell me that the dog obviously knows its doing something its not supposed to but just cant control itself. And if he happens to catch a glimpse of a cat than he leaps into action in a seconds time which also tells me he probably has a high prey drive.
Now I'd love to be able to live in harmony and not have to worry about this dog going after my cats and I figure in order to do that this dog needs some serious impulse control training. Now its also not my dog and I work and dont have all day to sit around and train it so I need an answer thats not going to invovle anything too indepth or too time consuming or too complicated if I need to get the roomie to take responsibility.
Or am I dealing with a hopeless situation?
Also, to stop answers that might pretain to this line of thinking before it starts, our roommate is my bf's/fiance best friend since before grade school, so its not so simple to say kick him out and while that will happen eventually its not happening now.
