Greetings guys,

I'm a new member here and my name is manuel. I usually frequent the philippines

on a yearly basis. however, as I was planning to settle in, i was thinking of

going back to the philippines and find work in the Philippine national police as

an officer.

HOWEVER, As per the law of dual citizenship between US and Philippines; would I

lose my US citizenship if i apply and seek work as a police officer in the

philippines? or even in the government sectors like PDEA or DSWD? (from what the

law says policy level position and government office?)

I am fairly confused what the travel.state.gov says about that particular line

whether is it ok to work in the government of the philippines or is it as long I

do not become a politician then I'm fine?

My girlfriend took this before her period on the FIRST morning urine. it should come about 11 or 14th of this July. But she never had nausea or breast tenderness or anything abnormal. She just said she had a brownish discharge 4 days ago before this 11th that lasted 2 days too, after that day she had a white discharge, then after that day (9th) she had a yellowish discharge. So today today (in the philippines its 10th) I let her took a pregnancy test at the same batch of urine she got. She used a dropper provided in the kit to put urine on the tester. So as you can see, we are quite confused which one we should take as a primal result? the first two are same brand and the last two are different than the first but are same made by watsons. Please help us ease our worries.

And NO, we are not trying to conceive. That's why I never put my P*nis inside her, only dry humping with both shorts on and I have a condom. I fingered her and that's it. the last time was on the 19th.

Ok so, Next week; we are going to have a sparring session for taekwondo. I was asked that if I wanted to get the Job then I should show up Monday for the sparring and they will pit me against their blackbelt.

But please hear me out first, here's the thing. I am a Kickboxing practitioner and a bluebelt in BJJ. the reason I wanted to teach TKD is because on their ad they said they will train the person who had experience in MA and *applying for a martial arts instructor* (generally, it ACTUALLY says Martial arts Instructor not TKD) but then they said "Preferably" TKD at the caption note.

Now I am not against that, actually I want to teach tkd too saying I was a a blue belt before in college. But they want to pit me against their blackbelt with the issue that I've been learning kickboxing and BJJ for almost 7 years!

What should I do? go over there and show them what I'm made of? kick the guy that they will pit me against with til kingdom come? Or just say "I think you are demanding too much coz this was my third return?" *yes you got that right, This would be my third comeback after the 2nd interview.

OR just probably, it's ok to tell them that my TKD is almost on the OBSOLETE term because of my other training?

All in all, I still consider it as A JOB, so I don't want to pass the opportunity.

Well, you see, this is my first time to this. I'm in college for night class and I just want to have a part -time job as a security, I still have to go for the 8 hour training and the OJT. However, today when I got to my application they said: "why do you want to work mon-friday and first shift only?" and I said " because my schedule preference needed that." and then he said "well, on this job we work 24/7, so if you are like that, then this is not a place for you" VERBATIM! he said that. I just stopped and thought about what to say there for a bit but I was kinda ticked off with his smart comment (I don't like smart sh*t like that, I got too much already when I was in the Army.) Don't know if he's just a d!ck or he's the actual shift supervisor. But I'm starting not to like him, he make it sound like he does a bad-as job of making the american people safe everyday. (c'mon now, we know security job is not a deterrence for crime mugs? heck, unless I got trained as crowd control then hell yeah.)

I did not tell him I go to school or something because they are kinda in a fast-paced-apply-for-now-and-verify-background-mode at that time. But I wanted to tell him I only wanted a part-time job not a full time.

Anyways, So, they said.. they'll call me back later after all the background check and formality and they did.

Told me to be on the guard office tomorrow afternoon to talk more about the job.

So is that gonna be my actual interview for tomorow? or I just had one today?

Coz I'm quite confused right now because the guy who supervises recruiting thinks I should work 7 days without off? or he's just a recruiting manager and there's an actual place where I could choose where to go as a guard, choose/change shift and decide whether to work part-time or full-time?

How do I ask then to have a part-time job schedule? like a way to say it right?

Also, Do I have any advancement chance to become like one of those bodyguards or anything a lot better than just a armed/unarmed guard without going to be a Police? Kinda still kick that movie called Body guard too. :)

I've been in the navy for 3 years I still got 3 years up because of that enlistment bonus.

I just got diagnosed with asthma exarcebation and naval hospital gave me a inhaler. There are 2 guys having the same thing as I do. But my question is; How do I get a medical discharge for having asthma? because now, I can't even run, lift or just do heavy work. I talked to the medical on our ship and I don't know if they would even try to pursue medical discharge and I don't feel they even got the motivation to give the effort of putting me medically discharged;that's why I was worried. So I would like to know the process/steps and tips in order to get a medical discharge.

P.S> should I also get a attorney for this?

I would like to know what upgrade is that? is that for the intake?

Can you stay there in boot camp when they see that the PPD test or tb skin test is positive while the x-ray is negative?

I mean, it will be diagnosed as latent or dormant tuberculosis and it won't infect people... but the docs out there might do some precautionary methods and put the tested person in medication.

Now the question is;

would the person whose ppd test or skin test posed positive but has a negative x-ray be able to stay in bootcamp and train if/or he is issued with meds? or he has to go home and take it there instead?

Alright, here's the details.

As the US navy knows, a GSM is a turbine technician (mechanical) and is an individual that looks/fixes/maintains gas turbines.

However, Prior from bootcamp and before going to A-school.

All "US" navy personnel had completed the Course in the boot camp with shipboard damage control and firefighting (which my recruiter told me that I will have it as a badge for my skill) and weapons firing.

Back to being a GSM; my recruiter said they would be part of the so-called "SNIPE" team--(They say it's super naturally intelligent propulsion engineer while others say it's from the name of John Snipes, the guy that demanded more privilege for the steam engineers.)

Their advancement is measured with their earned skills being tested and allotted time spent on land/shore duty. They are however, trained (and usually) after Highschool.

As to being a navy personnel and also a GSM; they are backed by the words HONOR, COURAGE and COMMITMENT and most of all...

Being part of the worlds most powerful Navy and its Pride...

The United States Navy.

Now with the Challenger.

Having a "Philippine" Naval Personnel (Midshipman); his details comprises skills about command management and navigation.

Though it is, However, the lowest rank on the navigation department...

They are still considered officers and have essential skills regarding seamanship and navigation as well as it is a course in college (based in the Philippines).

Their advancement is measured based on the skills they would gain while on duty (apprenticeship and study).

However, the Philippine Navy's power is not as large and technologically advanced as the US Navy.

They are backed by the values of honor, dedication, patriotism, solidarity, leadership and professionalism.

My question is:

If both personnel will have a debate on which one is advanced or better;

who would it be and why?

I went to the range again today, after a lot of shooting, I noticed on the third time I reloaded the cylinder with .22.... when I tried to slide the cylinder out for reloading; I noticed that I can't remove the cylinder easily?!

Then I also notice, there's a lot of accumulation of burnt gun powder/primer on the cylinder's front. (actually, everytime I fire, I see muzzle flash on two areas of the gun, one on the cylinder's front and ofcourse, from the barrel.)

It might be the reason why my pistol is having a hard time for its cylinder to be removed/taken out. As far as I had observed, I think the gun powder contributed on clogging the swivel area of the cylinder?

And this might be the cause of my late question regarding why some of the ammo is not fired, most likely caused by difficulty of rotation from the cylinder, due to the excessive accumulation of burnt gun powder from the .22 caliber round.

(talking about that, is there a so-called ''clean'' .22 cartridge? if so, can you specify some that are not so expensive at all?)

anyway,

when I cleaned the cylinder's front again, it turns good and can be taken out again for a reloading without a problem.

This time I greased everything with machine oil (a guy said that machine oil protects metal from accumulation of any matter, he said. I didn't really buy it but it's the only oil available at the time, so I applied it on my pistol's cylinder area.)

But what could be done to eliminate this problem?

Is there a way to stop the accumulation of the gun powder on the cylinder area? Like especial oils or solutions?

Should I or Am I supposed to oil the cylinder area (the swivel that makes it slide out), but, (right me if I'm wrong) I think, the oil contributes on the accumulation too especially on those area?

I tried to check the cylinder and everything on it, but there's nothing wrong within it's construction at all.

So if anyone has an experience on this problem, please, would you help me out?

Hello folks.

Today I woke up and cleaned my pistol that I just bought.

But I can't forget what happened on my .22 rounds from the firing range yesterday.

CCI blazer .22 rounds are misfiring most of the time on my pistol.

I can't field strip my revolver over there or clean it because it's their policy.

so I decided to go home and inspect what happened on it.

So maybe the firing pin is worn out or the hammer spring is not working good. Probably it's the reason why it misfires, probably caused by light striking of the hammer pin?

so I lubed the hammer and the spring and put it back again.

but alas, it is working fine. Because, i put an empty .22 cartridge on the cylinder and then the pin still hits... and I mean it still hits hard on the cartridge!

Though it might be because I lubed it down with oil/solvent/rem oil.

On your opinions, for I am still a greenhorn regarding firearms,

would an old revolver like mine, misfire? not because of the cartridge nor the hammer pin (causing light striking on the ammo) or worn out hammer spring? But because I didn't lubed it down with oil at the first place?

also, when i was still in the firing range, it misfires if I shoot it on a double-action system... but it fires good on a single action?

I tested it again today, and I did the hammer pin test on a double action system... then again, the empty .22 cartridge is still being hit fine.

any suggestions, advice, or information are welcome.

Well, I went to buy a 500 rounds (10 box of 50 rnds) of .22 LR with a brand name of CCI blazer.

However, when I tried to use it for my gun, i was surprised that on every box, I have 10 to 20 ammos that are not shooting at all.

But when I used a Remington thunderbolt (the the accuracy is ok I guess), it all went good and shot most of the time (2 misfire for a box).

I feel as if i wasted money, but what should I do with those ammo that are not good? I still have 400 more rounds, but everytime I think about the money I put on it, I feel that I need to fire all of them despite the fact that they can't perform good.

But I don't know what is this man shift? how does it work and how do I use it? also there's this button on the gear stick and says Power shift and Norm shift. I always put it on norm but what does power shift mean?

I'm afraid, very afraid... that I will not be able to go to the NAVY because I have a history of eczema (mine is quite xerotic/atopic nature, but my doctor only told it's just eczema, no describer.). My eczema is controllable with moisturizers like petroleum jelly or shea butter and It's not severe, it's only a rash/dryness that is not even noticeable...it's just small (But I still have a history of eczema which is a no-no for them).

But I saw on all the NAVY sites that eczema will disqualify me with the navy and they are not waiver-able.

My eczema lasts about from 3 weeks to 3 months when i use moisturizers and they only occur when it's winter.

I'm a 19 year old, Legal Permanent resident and decided to go to the navy, whatever the Job is.

But it makes me sad everyday to think that my dream will be crushed by a skin disorder.... and actually, going to the navy is my only ticket to make my life better and be independent (get my citizenship and have a simple peaceful life after I get out from the service), SO I REALLY DON'T WANT TO BE DISQUALIFIED. oh no...oh God. Can anybody help me please?

I mean, I could say otherwise to the recruiter/MEPS but you see, If I do that... The smallpox vaccine (which can cause eczema vaccinatum to me) will be my most dreadful enemy in the end (because they'll want me to take it), and I couldn't lie and say I didn't have eczema because the proof will be all-over my body after the vaccination.

I just don't want to give up, this is my chance, this is my only ticket to improve my life for better.

I'm so confused and I'm in despair...

Could someone who has the same experience like me, or anyone who worked with these case before be kind enough to help me?

Is there an excellent paintballs for high pressure markers? that will endure the striking of the bolt on the paintball?

Because I used a Sterling shield paintballs and it chopped in my gun.

And I noticed... it chopped the moment it was struck by the bolt.

i use a rex r2 that runs 270 fps and requires atleast 340 psi.

i tested it by putting one paintball at a time on my marker to see if it's the marker's fault or the paint... and it's the paint's fault.

well, you know the square plastic part where the light and the on/off button is located? well, it's wobbly and it doesn't stay on one position.

Is it normal? I mean it's working but the loose part is so annoying

What kind of ball detent or brand does a REX R2 marker use?

I'm just quite afraid to go with my friends tommorrow on a speedball field and use my alpha black tactical tippmann.

I'm a top student (on a normal class)but, nobody really cared about my skills; all they look at are the star sections (elite genius students) on my school.

I want to experience to be loved when I was still there...

To have a girlfriend and be happy but, when I show my feelings ... all they told me was that they don't like me and sorry (for about 5 attempts already).

they say they just don't like me.

Now I'm here in america, thought I could forget all those past memories but I can't.

My current Job is stressful and my peers (newly met Filipinos/people) feel as if they really don't care whether I go with them or not.

I feel empty...not an Emo, but this is the first time I felt unhappiness.
