3 AnswersChemistry7 years agoKinematics: velocity time graph concept of acceleration?
First, visualise/ sketch a graph. The x axis is time and the y axis is velocity. When t is 0, v is 1. When t is 1, v is 0. When t is 2, v is -1. It should have an acceleration of -1. Take left direction to be positive. So the particle decelerates and stops, then it accelerates in the other direction. Actually the values dont matter, all i need is the shape.
My question is: accelerating in the opposite direction is considered acceleration or deceleration? The graph says it has constant deceleration but the motion tells me otherwise.
1 AnswerPhysics7 years agomovie name of this movie?
a movie about this space themed board game, which is not just a board game. Two brothers found it and started playing. Their house gets transported to space and they endure things like meteor showers. They have to finish the game or they will never go back. In an alternate timeline, the brother wished his other brother gone and they cannot finish the game. he somehow manages to travel to a timeline where the two brothers (his younger self and his brother) rescue him as an astronaut and he tries to prevent them from going the same way as he did. happy ending at the back.
its been more than 5 years ago since i watched this.

1 AnswerHomework Help7 years agoIs it more fatal to be trapped in a room with 10% more carbon dioxide than 1% carbon monoxide?
There will be sufficient oxygen.
Carbon dioxide is the stimulant for breathing. Normal atmospheric air has about 0.02% carbon dioxide. More carbon dioxide means you breathe faster. In this situation, you may breathe even faster than when you are under strenuous exercise
Carbon monoxide is fatal as it combines with haemoglobin preferentially than oxygen. In other words, you suffocate when there is too much carbon monoxide as there is not enough oxygen. In normal air, there are only trace amounts of it, 0.2 parts per million.
1 AnswerBiology8 years agohow to fix hp laptop?
the model is a hp pavilion dm4 notebook pc. the screen is connected by two joints and the right metallic bit connecting the screen to the joint is not stuck properly. which means that when i close the screen and look closely at the opening, i can see a bit of light-----from the glowing hp symbol. the computer is fully operational but it makes me uneasy when i try to close it. i could use super glue and stick the joint to the screen, that should fix it (i've studied the other side). but i am not sure if it would hinder technicians if i ever sent my computer for repair. would sticking it back be recommended?
1 AnswerLaptops & Notebooks8 years agoThe mole: why is carbon-12 used instead of hydrogen atom?
When calculating the relative atomic mass or relative molecular mass, the mass of one molecule/atom of the substance is always compared to 1/12 of the mass of one atom of carbon-12 instead of one hydrogen atom. Why is it so?

I have Pearl version and its hard to look for a pokemon, especially a Water type (excluding Empoleon) like that. I've been trying to persuade my brother to trade me one from Kanto (he can migrate it) but chances are he will not.
