1 AnswerPhiladelphia7 years agoCamper Clubs pros and cons?
We purchased an RV/ Camper last year and just love getting away on the weekends to different places. A few camp grounds stated they accept camper club discounts. Anyone have history with these? Are they worth it? What are the pros and cons?
Thanks for your help.
1 AnswerPhiladelphia7 years agoCan the follow pickle recipe be stored at room temp or do I have to refrigerate after 24 hrs?
I found the follow recipe online, and I plan to use it with the cucumbers we have been growing. Does anyone know if this mixure is safe to leave out of the refrigerator and at room temperature until we open to eat them? I will refrigerate after we open them, just don't want to use up a ton of space in my fridge since we will have a ton of Jars. If I can store at room temp. will they still last a year?
1 whole bulk garlic
1 med. onion
Fresh dill – I used about 16 stems
2 qts. water
1 c. white vinegar
1/2 c. salt (you could use canning, but I just used regular)
3 (or more) small Thai peppers. I used three and wish I had used about 6. I like the spicy.
4 large (or more) pickling cucumbers halved and quartered for spears.
Directions:
1. Place peeled garlic cloves, quartered onion, peppers and 1/2 of the dill on the bottom of a 1 gallon jar.
2. Pack cucumbers and tomatoes in jar and place remaining dill on top.
3. Heat water, vinegar and salt until the salt dissolves. Pour brine in jar, cover and set at room temperature for about 2 days then refrigerate. Pickles will keep 9 months to 1 year.
Of course, I waited about 6 hours before cracking the jar open at midnight and promptly eating about 6. They were amazing! But they were even better 2 days later.

1 AnswerDancing9 years agoIs there a religion that requires an even number of burners on a cooktop?
Someone stated to me they can not have a 5-burner cooktop in their kitchen because of religious belief, they must have a 4-burner because it is an even number. I have never heard this before. Does anyone know what religion this is?
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoI am looking at getting another tattoo and need some ideas?
I want a tattoo to represent my husband, something small, no name included just a symbol. I was thinking of a victorian key with a heart shape as the top of the key to represent he holds the key to my heart. Victorian key because our wedding was victorian style. I was going to have three small heart on the side of the tattoo to respresent my child and 2 stepchildren. Does anyone have any ideas similar to this that would make for a good tattoo? I need something more simple because I alread have two tattoos on the sides of my lower back, one flower on each side with names around them. I need something I can incorporate with this and kind of connect them together with a design as the background.

14 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoHow do I resolve this issue?
Someone has been trolling on my questions and answers and I received many notification that my questions or answers have been deleted because they are against the community guideline... most were not against any of the guidelines.
I have contacted YA Answers informing them of this problem. Is this the proper way to have my issues handled with YA Answers? Or do I have to fight each individual violation sent? I have never had this done to me before so I am not sure on the exact procedure.
4 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoHottest Job in the Country? Are you kidding me?
So in my local area (Philadelphia), yahoo posted the following article about the man with the hottest job in the country... this man is a street paver and they are claiming it is the hottest job because he was working on 104 degree weather yesterday. Ummm.... NO. My husband does HVAC and was in an attic working it was close to 130 degrees... I think that is a lot hotter. Also, what about Firemen? or other industries.
This story made me angry.

6 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoWhat could be wrong? I want to prepare myself for my vet visit tonight.?
So my cat who is around 10 years old (might be older since we adopted him as an adult cat) has been getting extremely thin. When I notice him dropped a little weight I start mixing wet and dry food so he would eat more. At first he was doing great, eating so much. I would put down a full can of food with some dry food mix and he would eat the entire thing (2-3 times a day). Over the weekend, he started eating a lot less, I would put out a can of food and he would eat only a few bites. His personality is the same, he is not crying like he is in pain, he is just really thin. It is not from the heat, he is an indoor only cat and my house is set at 74 degree at all times.
I have a vet appointment for him tonight (I couldn't take him over the weekend due to them being closed for the holiday). I just want to know what it could possibly be because I am thinking the worse and I am afraid of what the vet might say. He is my baby and I don't want to put him down, but always want to prepare myself for the worse. Do you all think it could be something that is treatable?
