That Tenor Sax Girl

I have an assignment to write a program that reads questions and answers from a file and gives the user a quiz. I wrote that and it works fine. The only problem is that some of the questions/answers are kind of long and it makes the console output look bad,

I'm wondering if there is a function or something I could use that would separate long strings into multiple lines without cutting any words in half.

Both of them CAN swim, they try to swim when we give them baths (before they realize their paws can touch the bottom easily) and we just brought them into the pool today (standing with them just in case) but they don't like it. One of them is a 2-3 year old apple cup and the other is a rescue who is probably a puppy (we've had him since march and he could eat solid food when we got him, but he weighs less than 2 pounds and acts like a puppy) and we are not quite sure if he is a Chihuahua or a min pin.

The apple cup is very overweight so it could be good exercise, he swims right for the edge every time, and once dove off the floatie we were on and tried to swim his way to the edge and jump out (we got him before he got close though)

The puppy(?) is a very strong swimmer (he has long legs) and is more likely to swim towards a floatie or back to a person than go to the edge but I still don't think he likes it very much.

Living close to an open canal, having a pool and going fishing so much I would feel more comfortable if they liked to swim. Is there a way to get them more used to it or do Chihuahua's just naturally hate water?

Were both 20 and in college and It's summer break, we live in 2 different states so we probably won't get to see eachother until August 23rd when school starts.

The problem is he never text me first, he never calls and no emails. He is a really great boyfriend in person, but this long distance thing sucks. We've only been officially dating for 2 months (but practically dating since October).

I'm his first real girlfriend and i think he sees texting as a information tool, not a conversation one, so I kind of understand, but I get really lonely without communication of any kind. When we do text it's because I text him first and it's only for an hour or so. If I don't text we won't talk for days.

How do I bring this up without sounding clingy? (Maybe I am clingy, but I don't want to be too clingy) we haven't argued yet and I don't want to start now. I don't think he would break up with me, but I'm so afraid that he will think we should take a break for the summer. He's not the kind of guy to say that, but I'm still afraid.

I know he likes me and I don't think he's doing this intentionally, he is really shy so that might be the problem. What should I do?

It will be me and 4 friends, including my boyfriend. I mainly want to avoid movies he wouldn't like (chick flicks). Were all in college and were watching the movie on campus. I like pretty much any kind of movie, especially sci-fi and comedy.

We met through "Sara" and shortly before we started dating she told him (Zac) she regretted it because she felt like a 3rd wheel. She told him she was going to talk to me about it too, but she never did. The closer I got to Zac, the less she talked to me. When he asked me out she stopped talking to me all together.

Well she didn't stop talking to him. He doesn't like her but he's too polite to ignore her. But she keeps doing things which I think are intentionally meant to upset me. Like today at dinner he and I were sitting with some friends when i noticed her sitting a few tables away staring. Then she called him saying she needed to talk to him. Well he was there for a good 20 minutes before one of my friends texted him and he came back. While he was there I tried to avoid looking, but one time I did and she started throwing her head back laughing while looking right at me. And he said that when he said he had a text asking him to come back she wanted to know who sent it.

Right after he came back she and her friend left and our friends lectured him for talking to her but I didn't say anything. Then I asked what was so important and she "just wanted to talk because she never gets to see him anymore"

I know I don't have any solid evidence that she's messing with me on purpose, but I think she is. How do i handle this without lecturing him or trying to control who he sees? He's very sweet, I don't think he thinks she's up to anything, so why stop talking to her?

My boyfriend is going as Darth Vader because his best friend is Han and his girlfriend is Leia. That defiantly kicks me going as Princess Leia off the table. So I thought maybe I could be more creative, there are some ideas I have so far-

On Friday my school is showing Episode V and I was planning to be Princess Leia in her Hoth outfit, but today my boyfriend told me that he couldn't be Han Solo because one of his friends is going as him. (I don't really see a problem because I'm sure everyone and her mother is going to be Leia, but ANYways) He narrowed it down to C-3PO or Luke. My problem is if he's Luke I don't want to be Leia because that's his sister, and I don't see very many other options for a girl. Any ideas?

ONLY FROM THE ORIGINAL THREE MOVIES PLEASE! I don't care if she's a ridiculously minor character or an extra, but please no characters that only exist in the animations, comics and books because I haven't read/watched any of those. Also no prequel/special edition characters please.

We go to a small Christian college, he's a sophomore and I'm a freshman. He asked me out Thursday, but we've been hanging out together since October and apparently he's considered us to be dating since February. But we haven't had any intentional physical contact other than holding hands in prayer circles.

I figure that if I can get him to hug me he will be more likely to start holding my hand and that if he becomes comfortable doing that then he will eventually kiss me.

I want him to do these things first and I'm almost certain he does too (so I will NOT "just kiss/hug him" or grab his hand), but I don't know how to hint about it without being really forward. He does want to see a movie soon so maybe its something I could do then.

There is a friendly cat that always hangs out around campus and on the way back to my dorm I stopped to pet him and I had a white chocolate blended coffee drink and he kept sniffing it and I figured he was probably pretty hungry and he probably wouldn't like it anyways so I poured some in a little puddle on the concrete and at first he just sniffed it and walked away but a few minutes latter he was lapping it up like crazy so I gave him more before I left and when I got back I realized that all that cafene and chocolate, milk an sugar probably isn't good for him so I just want to make sure it wasn't goin to make him really sick or anything. He probably had less than 1/4 of a cup.

So my boyfriend just asked my out and while I'm SUPER excited, but I realized I have no clue what I'm doing. I'm turning 20 in a few days and I haven't dated anyone except a boy I dated when I was 15.

I don't know things like:

Should I start hugging him every time we say goodbye or will it be obvious I'm only doing that because I want him to kiss me?

Should I keep waiting for him to hold my hand first or does him asking me out give me the right to just grab his when I feel like it?

I don't remember how to kiss, should I warn him about that?

Should I make it obvious I want him to kiss me? (Please don't say just kiss him first- I wont do it, and he's way to tall anyways. I'd need a step stool just to kiss his cheek).

We don't text much, should I start doing that?

Should I avoid liking other guys Facebook statuses? Do guys care about that as much as girls?

I really like him I don't want to mess everything up because I don't know what to do.

I have a dress that I bought at a dress store a few years ago, but always wore as a long shirt. Well I saw some pictures of me in it and I looked ridiculous. Now it's the last day before spring break and Im wearing it with tights (leggings?) and it goes just past my fingertips. When I bend over and touch my toes it covers my bum but just barley. I'm sitting in my dorm lobby thinking if I should change and a few girls have passed by wearing really short skirts (but those are different because you can bend over in them).

We're not going out, but last semester we went to a girl-ask-guy event, on Valentines day he asked me to our "prom" (last weekend) and the other day he asked me to go swing dancing (not really a date since a friend of his is taking us, but still).

I own his favorite movie on VHS but haven't seen it. I was tempted, but I thought it'd be nicer to see it with him. I have a TV/VCR in my dorm room so I figured I could ask him to see it this Sunday (when boys are allowed if you keep the door open).

I just don't want him to think I'm being too forward. I don't want to invite anyone else, but I do recall a girl asking him to hang out and him saying although they had in the past, he had a new rule not to be alone with a girl that wasn't his girlfriend. Although my friends think he said it for my benefit and the girl said its because he didn't want to be alone with her, I don't want him to think "she knows she's not my girlfriend, right?" when I ask or think that I am ignoring his rule.

The guy I like is bringing me to a "dance" on Friday. First semester there was a girl-ask-guy event that I asked him to and this semesters event is guy-ask-girl and its a formal. Anyways, none of my friends have a car, but his dad is a professor so we borrowed his car last semester.

My friends wanted to know if he was using his dads car and if he was giving them rides too, but I kept putting off asking him so they went and asked him themselves and told me that yes he is driving all of us, but I will also be meeting his family because "they consider this to be our second date"

So I'm freaking out right now because were not dating (I was rather hoping that he would ask me at the event) and now I have to impress him AND his family! And I'm wearing make up and a fancy dress on Friday, so what if they think I wear makeup all the time or something? Or what if they call me his girlfriend? Am I supposed to deny it or ignore it? Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!

I never wear make up because I don't want people to think I look bad when I don't wear it. Well the guy I like asked me to this dance (we go to a small, Christian college and its kind of like our prom) and I have a fancy dress and hairstyle all ready, but I wonder if looking extra nice for him at this dance is worth breaking my no makeup rule.

If I decide to do it I wouldn't use false eyelashes or foundation, just eye make up (black winged eyeliner, mascara and silver eye shadow) and lip gloss.

I just don't want him to always be comparing how my face usually looks to how it will look at the dance, you know? Should I do it anyways?

My dress for an event that's coming up is strapless and keeps slipping down and also looked strange, so I tried putting on a bra underneath it so it has straps and it looks great now, but keeps slipping down so I was thinking I could sew the top of the dress to the top of the bra, and then the back of the bra to the back of the dress. Does this sound realistic? Any tips?

I have dark underarms, and it would cover them up great, but I don't want it coming off on my dress. Will it be good if I let it dry a long time or will I just have to come up with another plan?
