  • What is wrong with my speaker system?

My desktop runs on Gigabyte motherboard Gigabyte b85m-d3h-a. It says that it supports 5.1. And I have got Realtek HD Audio Manager (version 6.0.1.8036). I've just bought Logitech Z906. The conncetion is made with the 6- channel direct input cable Logitech provided. I connected both ends as per the colour codes and chose the pop- up message options from Realtek driver correctly.

When I'm testing the speakers using Realtek HD Audio Manager (Speakers> Speaker Configuration), none of the rest 4 pieces apart from 2 front speakers produce any sound. But when I play any song or video in my computer, all speakers work. But then, another thing is front left is producing the same sound as rear left and front right is matching rear right; even if I play Dolby digital songs from Youtube or other sources. Please let me know what the solution is.

  • Will Raynox DCR 250 help me it all? If yes, how?

    I have Nikon D5300. Lenses I have are Nikkor 18-55, Tamron 16-300 and Nikkor 105 micro f2.8.

I am interested in macro. So should I buy this Raynox? Which lens (among the 3 I mentioned) should I use behind Raynox? Will autofocus work?

  • Photoshop problem?

I'm using G41 motherboard and Dual core 2 with 2GB DDR2. I have 32 bit Win 7 installed. No dedicated graphics card.

There are 2 problems. One, Google Chrome crashes sometimes when opening or closing tabs especially. Two, I'm using Photoshop CC 2015 and many a times I get warning of unavailability of RAM and I have to restart PS. Besides, Closing PS in a direct way is impossible for me when an image is opened there. It just crashes instead of closing.

Are these problems interconnected? Are these because of low RAM and no graphics card? If yes, then what is the minimal upgrade I should attain? Will another 2GB RAM with 2GB DDR3 graphics solve the problems?

**BTW, the old PS 7 worked perfectly.

  • Macro photography options?

I am new to the SLR segment. Just bought Nikon D5300. I have two lenses- Nikkor 18-55 kit (VR) and Tamron 16-300.

I'm looking for macro options. I want to take 3:1 macro shots. Now, clearly, I'm out of budget already. So, I can't buy a dedicated macro lens. I need a cheap alternative. I've been considering the following options:

** Raynox DCR 250 snap on

    ** Kenko extension tubes set

    ** Bellows

** Reverse mounting of my existing zoom lens

    ** Double mount

Now, I don't know the exact capabilities and limitations of these. I'm gathering information over internet only. So, it'd be very helpful if you help me choose. Also any other option is welcome too.

  • Ideal diet?

    I'm 27, Male. Height 5'6'', Weight= 55 kg; build= thin.

I consume 18 or more chicken eggs per week. I eat meat twice/ thrice per week (500 gm or more in total). My diet does not include fish.

I live in a tropical region. Daily temperature can hit 36 degree C any day apart from the winter.

For a thin man, I sweat a lot. And I do not walk or engage in physical works much apart from sporadic such activities.

Do I need to give up the consumption of so many eggs? What should be the diet? How much water should be drunk every day? Please guide.

  • Possibility: double lens?

Can two lenses be mounted along to a SLR (don't laugh please if it's not possible. I don't even own a DSLR as of now. But I want to have one)? I mean if I could use 16- 300 Tamron with a 18- 55 lens (if it's possible), zoom power would extend to 57x. And if it possible, what would be the resulting range of focal length? Would it still be capable of taking a wide- angle picture?
