I often expand my answers to involve more than one view. We all have something to bring to the table. United we can make a difference. Divided we relinquish power. Politicians know this. I respect all views and appreciate their uniqueness. Email questions or comments, I answer within a day. Y!A is basically my diary. Universally minded... treading toward enlightenment...

  • How do I tell her I meant no harm?

I'm floored. I apparently offended someone to the core today and I've been blocked and reported. My response was genuine and heart-felt. I don't troll, and I don't hide my Q&A. Is there a way to actually respond, say you're sorry and explain yourself if you've been shut out?

  • What is an Atheist Christmas?

    Bit of a dilemma...

We aren't practicing Christians, or anything else for that matter, but we will have a tree and presents, and our 3 & 4yr old kids have learned about Santa from cartoons...

But, has the message been lost along the way?

What is Christmas to the Atheist?

    How about the Atheist parent?

    Thanks

  • What's this magic acai berry?

Is anyone else getting annoyed with the spammers for acai berry?

Its getting on my nerves, because some people are actually taking their bad advice to heart.

Acai info is encouraged, but its no miracle!

  • Have there been other Gods, Apocalypses or Armageddons in the past?

Earth may be about 4.5 billion years old.

Mammals have roamed for 200 million years.

Dinosaurs died out 65 million years ago.

Humans that look like us have walked earth for 200,000yrs so far.

Intelligence (so to speak) for a fraction of that 200,000yrs.

Many believe in God or a higher power but no one has tangible proof. Belief systems have great diversity, but why?

Does anyone else see the common links?.

All of the unknowns about God or lack thereof have me thinking...

Have there have been other Gods, Apocalypses and Armageddons in the past?

Will we deny the possibility of such because we lack evidence?

(I used Wikipedia for the Earth time line.)

  • What happened to the Ten Commandments?

Why are we supposed to blindly accept that Jesus Christ died for our sins? Aren't we responsible for our own?

If you ask your Pastor if God requires true Christians to keep the Ten Commandments, you may get a response about being saved by grace, or that the Ten Commandments are a good moral guide but that you "don’t have to keep them since you are saved by grace." There is confession of sins also.

How can Christians call themselves so and not try to live like Christ?

  • What is the best way to meditate?

I'm a non-denominational spiritual person and I've been awakened. Is there a process to make my meditation sessions more productive? Or can something that would encourage me to follow through when I do recieve information? I don't follow any established riuals or use props yet. The signs that its time for me to meditate seem to be jitters, itchy ears and light sensiivity. If possible, I turn off lights, lay down, close my eyes, let my ears ring, and start thinking about issues that need attention. Sometimes I see colors and lights but I can't determine who/what/why/etc. Overall, this method has scratched the surface of successful, but it seems too elementary. Is there anything else I can do? I feel like there is a lot of untapped potential in me. Thank you
