My dog and cats (who dont go outside) have fleas, which are now in my house. They are all treated with flea medicine. Is there anything else I can do?

A co-worker has shingles, Ive had chicken pox, my understanding is that I cant get shingles because of that. My question is, I have a 2 1/2 month old baby at home who of course has never had chicken pox or a vaccine for them, can I carry it home to him. Im scared, beacuse I dont know anything about shingles. Please help. Thanks.

My grandmother is in the hospital and my mom just went there taking my 2 month old with her. My husband is flipping out, he says our son has no business at a hospital around a bunch of sick people. My grandmother is not on a critical floor, she had surgery yesterday. Please tell me if he should be reacting this way or not. Hes not crazy about my mother anyway and I think he is looking for any way to keep her from watching our son.

My husband is severely allergic to codeine and we were wondering what he could take for pain. He has 2 titanium rods in his back and suffers from chronic back pain.

Next Monday my doctor is inducing me at 6 am. I will be 39.1 weeks then. What exactly do they do? She said they would start an IV with pitocin to make me go into labor. Is it possible to go into labor on my own before then. Im dilated to 3cm right now.

Im at pregnant with my second and have heard that baby doesnt usually drop until just before labor starts. Can anyone give me some insight as to if this is true and how soon before I should start. Water hasnt broke or anything like that. Just getting a little nervous that my "day" may be soon. Yesterday I had hard contractions that were 5-6 minutes apart but after a hour they stopped.

I am 35 weeks, 4 days preggers with my 2nd, is that too early to go into labor? Being my 2nd Im not sure. With my 1st my body never went into labor on its own. Please help me understand a little.

First of all, Im only 32 weeks and 1 day today, which makes me due January 11. I went to the doctor this morning cause yesterday and this morning I was having severe pain, like baby had dropped. He hadnt, just turned and is head down. Anyway she checked me and said I was dilated to 1 cm, but cervix hadnt begun to thin. Baby was still way up in there. She measured my belly, said I was measuring at 35 weeks and that she may induce me January 5. I dont understand why she would want to do that before Im actually due. Also she made my next appointment for 4 weeks from today. The last 2-3 times Ive went its been every 2 weeks. Any ideas on whats going on? This is my 2nd, my 1st was 9 years ago.

This is my second pregnancy, I dont remember from my first (9 years) what a membrane strip is.

I am 28 weeks pregnant and this morning I noticed a sweet smelling discharge on my panties. Im not hurting and baby is kicking like always, just wasnt sure what this was. Thank you

Im only 26 weeks so maybe Im wanting too much too fast. I can feel him move most days, but when I cant feel him for hours or most of day I get worried. Ive been through this before, 9 years ago, so Ive forgotten a lot.

Every time my husband and I have sex, I get sharp pains inmy pelvic area. During sex it is not uncomfortable, but afterwards it makes me not want to do it anymore. I cant find anything in either of my baby books about this either.
