My local gym have a yearly membership for $500 24/7. I haven't exercised in a while (gym equipment) I'm not fat or anything. I would just like to tone up and build up my strength.

The gym does classes, and has personal training for $99 for five times. I would like a personal trainer to help me in the right direction.

The question is is it worth joining? Or is it not worh the money?

I don't know anyone that goes to the gym is it easy to meet people. I'm shy so I don't know if that'll be a problem for me.
