I traveled at the beginning of December to Cairo to visit a my uncle who has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. I spent a week there then came back to the UK.

a week ago they called me to tell me that the scheduled an operation for the 9th of January. 

Were not from Cairo so we have no relatives there, and his son was going to travel to support my aunt while his father is in operation and help take care of him after the operation.

but my country has closed all airports and his son isn't  going to make it in time.

They have asked if I can go and support them as the doctors are telling him there are high chances he will not make it out of the operation room.

I have booked the flight before tier 4 rules came out, but now they say only essential travel is allowed.

This is essential for me, but would they consider it essential and let me fly out or will they stop me.

A relative of mine is severely ill and I would like to visit them before they go through their operation.

I have read the below is acceptable:

Third-country nationals spending less than 24 hours in international transit areas;

as a British citizen does this rule apply to me, would I be able to transit through France.

I am not going in France just transiting and I have read the rules in Cairo and they are fine for me.

I'm just worried that I will face problems in France.

"I graduated in computing Technology in 2012, and started working as a construction operative for 2 and a half years, in 2015 I started working for "company name" as a temporary colleague and at the start of this year I became a rank 2 permanent colleague.

Through my time within the company I worked for the savings department,offshore support and Fraud department, in everyone of those team I was responsible of recording the MI, making spreadsheets to simplify the process and track patterns in the work to see if there is room for improvements.

an example would be in the savings department we had over 600 cases that are outside the deadline and I was asked by my manager to see what is causing the delays and how we can improve the process, I found that the were under 18 and the forms were filled in by the parent not registered in our system, so we added a section in our letter to advise that the parent registered with us should fill in the form, and withing 3 months the number of cases that are outside the deadline went down to 150.

I believe I'm the right candidate for this job as I hold the right skills required and have knowledge in different processes."

I've not had a lot of interviews and would like your help to get the answer for the above question right.

my company has ranks for promotions e.g. - rank 1, rank 2, rank 3.

I'm a rank 2 at the moment and will be applying for a rank 3. I wrote the below answer and would like you to have a read and tell me how I can improve it. wasn't sure if I should mention that I worked in construction. I needed a flexible job as I was taken care of my mom at the time and in that job it was 1 day contract each day and I could leave and come back at anytime.

I'm also not sure if I provided enough details in the answer. the job is an MI analyst role, where we have to gather information about different processes, see how much work is coming in and how many colleague hey will need, if they are out of deadline or not. and we will also be supporting other teams of simplifying the way they do this, e.g. using excel formula, VBA code, etc..

I ve got a Computing degree and a BTEC certificate in IT Software. from my qualification I m good at all Microsoft applications and we studded how to use software for business either in planning or using them for projects.

I've had this laptop for nearly 2 years, but 2 months ago the screen started going black randomly.

I have to turn off the screen and put it back on by clicking fn+F8 to turn off the screen (like sleep mode) and then move the mouse or click any button to turn it back on.

This would happen once or twice a day, I thought it might of been the power settings reset them all but nothing changed, yesterday it got worse.

when I turn on the laptop it's all ok, I can login. but when I open an application, e.g. file explorer or google chrome the screen would turn off and when I put it back using the method I mentioned above it will come back for a sec or 2 and turn off again until I close the application and it would be ok again.

Please help.

I was told to take out all the power supply and battery and hold the power button for 2 min. but with this laptop I cannot remove the battery.

Hi all,

I ve been working in this company for 6 month, and for the past 2 months I ve been sat next to a woman (25 years old) -

she never stops talking and keeps asking questions that she knows the answer to (work related questions). and plays around a lot.

when every I try to tell her to calm down, she says "I have OCD I can t Help it."

a couple of days a go, she started talking about my personal life, so I told her not to speak to me - so she asked me to move - and I said she can move if she d like to.

so she started crying and went to report me to the manager.

the manager knows how she is, as I m not the first that this has happened to, but he cannot move my seat as there are no available space and no one will trade seats with me.

I really want advice on how to handle this situation as her voice gives me a headache.

and as I ve never dealt with anyone that has OCD (don t know much about it): is it it bad for them if they keep blaming their actions on their illness. and should I of spoken to her differently instead of telling her not to talk to me.

advice me on how you ll handle this situation, as I can t take it no more.

I got a call today about a job in a currency exchange company, and told me that The interview is tomorrow at 1.

didn't really give me much time to prepare?

something about my self FOR YOU TO KNOW on my last jobs (5 years) I worked for agencies so there were no interviews at all. this would be my first interview.

I just booked a flight and I got 40KG free luggage

2 pieces 20KG each

I got family there so I'm taking present for them.

so I got 2 bags each bag weights 3KG

I could fit 40 KG in one bag and save 3KG but I'm not allowed as it has to be 20KG

so I asked for extra luggage and they said it's £15 a Kilo

I was wondering if there is any other cheap way to ship my luggage. around 60KG extra

Hi I got this code that will post a random image every time the page refreshes

my problem is I've got Hundreds of images, so is there a way to make this easier then writing the code for every image

can i let it get the images from a folder or my flicker account randomly without posting the links for every single one
