Is it safe for me to DIY a new propane regulator? Image and Details included?
I have a propane bbq from out of country(china). It appears I need to change the regulator that is on the end of the hose. The one that is currently attached does not quite fit a north american propane tank. Most regulators I see to purchase online have hoses pre attached, for a north american BBQ hookup, but unfortunately that will not work with mine as it does not have that attachment on the BBQ.
MY QUESTION IS - is it safe for me to attach the hose to the new regulator to attach to a north American propane tank on my own? Is this the best option given my circumstance. Thanks in advance!

1 AnswerDo It Yourself (DIY)7 years agoQuestion on how to build backdrop for display.?
I would like to find out how you think a person would go about building a solid flat backdrop for a display like this. The material obviously has to be flat, solid, and light enough to be hung.
Any suggestions you have for materials and how to build would be greatly appreciated. Also included links to a couple more examples below. Thanks!

2 AnswersMovies8 years agoI want to make a ribbon chandelier, can you help me find what I am looking for? photo included?
I want to place the ribbon chandelier around poles and have the ribbons hanging down to cover the poles. The only thing is I can't find hoops that detach so I can fit them around the poles.
Can you give me some tips on finding the right product(detachable hoops, rings) that would work, or any ideas you have would be much appreciated. Thanks!
1 AnswerHobbies & Crafts8 years agoSteps to take in bad vehicle situation?
Long story short. Went to get an oil change and serpentine belt changed on 2001 Jetta. Left unnamed large oil change company thinking everything was fixed. Two days later, I hear a thud, and all of my car is sounding like it is dying, horrible grinding sound. Turned into the nearest garage. They told me the right hand side engine mount is broken and the engine is nearly hanging out of the vehicle. They asked me if I had a belt changed recently, I told them two days earlier I had a belt changed, they said this would have been the problem, that someone never finished their job.
My Question, Does is seem highly likely it is the person who repaired the belts error (Is this possible when repairing a serpentine belt?)
If so, how would you go about getting some sort of compinsation as they just totalled my vehicle. How would you approach the situation? Should I call a mechanic to look at the car and give me something in writing first? Advice would be much appreciated, tough situation. Thanks very much.

But it doesn't seem to fit properly as the top is wider than the bottom. Any advice would be appreciated for wrapping a cylinder with wallpaper that has a wider top and smaller bottom.

1 AnswerDo It Yourself (DIY)9 years agoNeeding advice for a project. picture included?
I want to make free standing poles from birch trees to string lights on. The birch poles I have a fairly thick and I worry about them being top heavy. I wanted to fill galvanized pales with cement to anchor them, but I don't want the trees to be permanently stuck for transportation issues.
Any ideas you would have for what I am trying to accomplish would be greatly appreciated. I just want the trees to be able to be pulled out of the cement after it hardens. Thanks ahead of time!
