  • What happened to tickbox.net the survey site?

I have spent nearly a year answering their surveys to rack up points to get a special item only to find they have now gone out of business. Does anybody know what has happened and has anyone else taken over their business? Are all opinion poll sites a waste of time? thanks

  • William and Kate on holiday again?

Yet another highly expensive luxurious holiday with all protection paid for by us, the very stretched tax payers. How long must we put up with this very lazy and profligate bunch of idiots? Once the Queen dies, can we have a vote on whether we wish to subside all the brain dead delusional spongers? Perhaps those who do and will bleat how much money they bring to our bankrupt country could start a fund to pay for them. Charles is a greedy sponger and his son, and half blow, are equally as bad. Now we have another load of snouts in the trough with that ghastly Pippa and her parents. I thought the Duke of Pork, his two thick kids and the rest of the vile brood were enough but now Kate has taken her massive hair extensions and the bald killer of innocent wild life on yet another freebie.

    Enough is enough.

  • Where are all the questions relevant to the UK?

Masses of questions relating to the US most of which are deadly dull to us in the UK. Where is our section or are we now too "diversive" to have an identity and we should be looking under questions for Albania, India, Poland, Pakistani, etc.?

  • How can David Beckham be a role model?

He is famous for what? His squeaky voice, his freakish tattoos, his socks stuffed in his pants? No, it cannot be his looks or his personality. It must be his football like when he kicked someone and had to be sent off. No, he wasn't that good at football. Maybe it's because he is a wonderful father and husband who only plays away occasionally?

Perhaps someone can enlighten me as to why this seedy looking fellow (without the make up, airbrushing and socks) is worth anything at all?

Perhaps it is because he is married to an ex pop singer who actually couldn't sing but pouted prettily?

Whatever the reason why the media adore him and we are supposed to follow suit may be, I hope someone can enlighten me. Please don't just write that he was a fantastic footballer - there have been masses of them who were and will be far better than him.

Why is this rather seedy middle aged man a role model?

  • Can you still recognise Amanda Holden, Carol Voderman and others?

They now have hamster cheeks and totally different faces from what they used to look like. There are many others too whom I would struggle to recognise. Even their ages have changed beyond recognition. Katherine Jenkins has lost at least five years as she has gained in inches on her bust measurement. Do they think we are stupid? Which one do you think has changed the most through surgery?

  • Doesn't David Beckham look seedy?

Why does he get so much publicity about his looks? He is heavily tattooed, has thinning hair, a middle aged physique, a squeaky voice and a general air of seediness. He would not look out of place in a run down Council estate with his rake thin wife and brood of loud kids. After all, his meagre talents at football are very well rewarded so why does he look so seedy?

  • Does anyone know how reborn baby fat is made?

I know this sounds like a weird question but a friend of mine makes reborn baby dolls and is paying a lot of money for baby fat. I thought it might be silicone pellets or something like that so if anyone knows what the baby fat consists of or where I can buy some (not through reborn suppliers as they charge a lot) I would be very grateful.

    Happy New Year to all.

  • Was McAlpine ever mentioned in Scallywag magazine?

I understand that Scallywag was put out of business by John Major because they rightly said he was having an affair. Is it correct that McAlpine and other Conservatives were also headlined in Scallywag for various activities

  • Is Prince Charles really such a self indulgent deluded idiot as he appears?

Does anyone really want him to be King so that he can continue in his fantasy world of believing he is born to be a great leader? Sad, spoilt and somewhat stupid is what he appears to most people and rather embarrassing - although his brothers are even more crass. He is totally unaware of the realities of life and his ghastly development at Poundbury, Dorchester, has desecrated the landscape for miles around and built probably one of the most tacky housing estates in Europe - a monument to his greed.

  • Will Waity Katey wear a virginal white dress when she sails down the aisle?

White is the traditional colour for a virgin on her marriage - although I realise that it does not apply to many of today's brides. However as a future (possibly) Queen is it not ridiculous for her to pretend she is pure when she has been sleeping with William for many years? A quiet registry wedding would surely be more appropriate?

  • As a British citizen, would you like to leave GB and where would you go?

I hate our "multicultural" overcrowded benefit ridden little country ruled over by greedy idiots in Government and the local councils. I want to get out before it implodes and is just another third world little bit of the EU. Do you agree and where would you go - if they would have you?

  • Cheryl Cole - Malaria or Anorexia?

A lot of "celebs" check in to hospitals, etc. when in need of more plastic surgery, drugs or drink rehab, tummy tucks and lipo after having babies etc. Cole is a typical lollipop woman with spindly legs and a gaunt body. Malaria is a great cover story for her and just think of all the mileage she is getting from it and how she can yet again be the poor victim with the every ready tear ducts. Lucky she has implanted false eyelashes to match her fake hair and disguise her total lack of talent.

  • Has anyone yet received a refund from Ryanair for the volcanic disruption?

We were stranded in Majorca and just told to go away and fax them! We stayed for four days until we could fly home and kept to a low budget (of necessity). I know it was not their fault but have faxed them (after 14 atttempts to get through) over 2 months ago and have had no response. I faxed them again and am still waiting. Has anyone had a refund please?

  • Why are the UK & Ireland pages filled with US questions?

I am not interested in what is going on in America as far as their police, families, courts, etc. are concerned and only log on to see what is happening in the UK. Why are we saturated with their questions and answers? The page reads "UK & Ireland" so keep it to that.

  • Why flaunt the wives Brown & Cameron?

Is it because your own policies are so weak that you have to wheel on these fake smiley faced accessories? Neither of you has ever done a proper job and both are unfit to rule anything let alone the UK. Are you going to leave it up to the little wives so that we can choose who has the best outfit, the neatest handbag or the most celebrity friends? Shame on you.

  • What is the best cure for acne scars?

I have been told that a ruby laser would work but so many actors have dreadful pock marks and surely they can afford the best treatment. Is there anything that works, please?

  • Is Stephen Fry the smuggest most irritating person on TV?

From his shiny polished face, his smug rehearsed "off the cuff witticisms", his drivel on Twitter and his "precious luvvie" twee - is there anyone else who comes close to this King of Drivel?

  • Was Fanny Craddock a transvestite?

I have been watching some cookery shows she did for TV and she looks like, dresses like and sounds like a Pantomime Dame. I know "Johnny" was supposed to be her husband, but was she really a man?
