    I am of mixed race European and African American.

    I have dark brown very thick wavy hair and I get a chemical straightener every once and awhile to keep my hair straight without the hassle of the brush and blowdry. My hair is shoulder length and very healthy. I would like to get the tips of my hair (The back) dyed platinum blonde but I know I canot get it bleached because of the chemical reaction with the straightener. Is there any way I can achieve this look without losing my hair?
