Is this normal?

When I had my ultrasound, I saw and heard the heartbeat (173). They said everything looked great. There was a ton of movement. But when I went today they couldn't find the heartbeat with the doppler. I'm trying to stay positive, it's just kind of scary.

There are 6 of us (adults) taking a ski trip to Red River, NM on Thursday (Jan 1st) through the 4th. The guy making the arrangements said someone told him it was a down time and that he didn't need to make hotel reservations. I have looked online and it doesn't look like there are very many vacant condos or rooms for 6 people. Is this really a down time and do I need to make reservations? It is a 9-10 hour drive and I do not want to get there and have no where to stay.

I'm going skiing for the first time this weekend. My friend and I are going to take lessons, as we know we should. My question is, since the ski lessons are usually all day long, if we get the hang of things after the morning lesson, do you have to go back that afternoon? How do these work?

Already have the land and hunters safety course covered. I need to know about license, tags etc...I have looked on-line but don't see anything about tags. Can someone that's done this please help me out? Thanks! Keep in mind, I am from Oklahoma so I will be a non-resident.

I have completed my hunters education course in Oklahoma. I have a friend who has land in Texas. He said I could come hunt. I'm trying to figure out what I need to hunt there. I know I will need a non-resident license but what about the Hunters Safety/Education? Do I have to take it there or does mine from Oklahoma carry over?
