Does any one know the lyrics to this hymn- Sing ye people?
This is driving me nuts, it may be a hymn composed by the nuns at my school nonetheless I thought I'd put it up first and ask here at YA.
Some of the words are as follows:
On a cold and lonely ...... night in the hills of a land called ....
There shone a star so ... and bright..........
Chorus:
Sing ye people sing of .......
Christ our lord has come to earth
Sing ye people ........
Christ was born on Christmas day

TWO OLD DEARS, AND ONE OLD TRIER.
Two elderly ladies were talking. Ethel noticed something in Mabel's ear. She said to her friend "Mabel dear, did you know that you have a suppository stuck in your ear. Mabel pulled it out and replied "Ethel I'm so glad you saw this thing, now I think I know where my hearing aid is.
An 85 year old man went to his doctor to get a sperm count. The doctor says to him "Take this jar home, and bring back a semen sample tomorrow." The next day the old man returns to the doctor's surgery. The doctor asks him "How did you go sir" The old man replies "Well doc its like this, I tried it with my right hand, then I tried it with my left hand, but nothing. I even got my wife to help me, she tried it with both her hands, she even used her mouth, but still nothing. Even the lady next door lent a hand, she tried squeezing it between her knees and still nothing would work.

2 AnswersJokes & Riddles1 decade agoIf someone offends you, what would you do? YA?
If someone was to write an offensive answer, or, just tick you off, how would you respond? I mean, do you ignore it and not let it bother you, or do you write back?
6 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoCity or the Country? - Which is better?
I was on the train the other day, a man sitting next to me introduced himself he was from the country, and was in the city doing contract work. He asked me "why are townies (city people) so serious." I replied, "the longer you work in the city the more you'll become one of us." He greeted everyone with a "hi, how are you." And the response from the other comuters was either a quick smile, or, a look in the other direction. Because no one would answer him he started to wave to people asking their names. Not long he had people waving back to him, laughing and telling him their names. He told me that they couldn't pay him enough to live in the city, because peple are too serious. I couldn't live in the country being born in the city all that open space would drive me nuts.
If money wasn't a problem. Where would you prefer to live. In the City or in the Country?

4 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agoWhat is the best thing about the town you live in ..........?
And what is the worst thing about the town you live in......
I love the town I live in. The people here are very community minded. But sadly because of infill housing our town is becoming over crowded, crime has risen, and we are slowly watching our town turning into a ghetto.

17 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoDoes anyone remember using fountain pens in school?
I went to catholic school and in the final two years of intermediate we had to use ink pens. They use to make big messes in our books and on our fingers. It really bugged me we had to use ink pens for two years, when practically all other schools used ball points. Why did teachers feel we needed to use ink pens in the early 1980's and why did the stationery shops supply so many of them.
