  • reasons why some think Floyd Mayweather will beat Manny Pacquiao?

Top reasons why some believe floyd mayweather will beat manny pacquiao,,

    1. Floyd Mayweather is undefeated, Pac has lost 5 times

    2. Floyd Mayweather is a defensive boxer

    3. Money beat Juan Manuel Marquez easily

    4. Floyd is bigger,, taller,, has longer reach,,

    5. Floyd owns vegas

These are the reasons i see why some people favor Mayweather, ill give 5 reasons why pacquiao has a chance of beating Floyd,,

    1. Pacman is the greatest boxer floyd will face

    2. Southpaw stance with blinding speed who throws punches from ALL angles

    3. Relentless agression and power

    4. Ability and willingness to take some to dish some

    5. Pac has the better footwork and lateral movement at this point of their careers

Let's deal with reasons why floyd will beat Manny. Yup he is undefeated and manny lost 5 times, thing is, just which great boxer in his prime did floyd beat? Manny lost 5 sure, 2 losses he was dehydrated and 1 was a highway robbery,, Now as id always say, Floyd is top 5 greatest defensive master all time but he has never met a fighting machine as explosive as pacquiao and we cant use the marquez fight as a barometer, it took jmm 4 fights and jmm was willing to take some, money's always safety first. Also if we use this logic well manny had better wins against hoya, mosley, cotto and hatton right? I complety agree floyd is bigger and taller however time has proven manny knows disntance pretty well. Hopefully number 5 aint true otherwise, we waited 6 years for boxing biggest's scam,,

  • among floyd mayweather reasons which was legit?

"Will not fight pac coz of arum"

Well manny is still with arum isnt he?

    "Bloodtest"

Mayweather never asked for test but demanded one for pac? And when manny agreed he still declined the fight,,

    "manny has losses"

Were maidana, mosley, ortiz etc undefeated?

    "Manny aint my level"

So ortiz, maidana, guerrero etc were all greater boxers than pacquiao??

    "Manny's ppv numbers suck"

So you'd rather fight guerrero, ortiz and maidana 2 times??

"My health would be at risk"

    Just what does that mean?

"40 million for pac no ppv, no nothing,, deal or no deal"

    really? What suddenly changed?

"Manny is juicin because he started at 106 at 16 and he's beating these bigger men"

Didnt floyd fight at 106 when he was 16? He in fact won the national golden gloves championship, Is he on steroids too?

  • BOXING: If floyd mayweather avoids pacquiao again, does a cw vs GGG earn him your respect?

BOXING: If floyd mayweather avoids pacquiao again, does a cw vs GGG earn him your respect.

I know it sounds ridiculous but this is exactly what people's reactions were when the natural lightweight pacquiao who barely got out of featherweight was negotiating matches vs guys like hoya, hatton, cotto and margarito. If Manny could I believe Floyd's body frame is still bigger than the PAC eyeing his 6th, 7th and 8th divisions. Risky yup but PAC took it. The risk floyd will be taking is still quite less compared to what manny has taken. A win against GGG on a catchweight would elevate floyd further up the all time ranking, I assure you. Forget cotto please..

  • BOXING: manny pacquiao, jimmy mclarnin and georges carpentier fought from flyweight and up: which climb is most impressive?

jimmy mclarnin beat 7 hall of famers in Villa, Labarba, Ambers, Canzoneri, Ross, Kaplan, Petrolle, Leonard, Young Corbett 3.. Pac beat possible hall of famers cotto, hatton, mosley, dela hoya, bradley, barrera, marquez and morales and mayweather??? hehe,, now for carpentier i am not so sure to be honest but he did win the light heavyweight championship and lost to dempsey and tunney. Wow these 3 are awesome. Again all started from flyweight but both mclarnin and carpentier were naturaly big boxers that were bound to fight at the higher weights for example mclarnin fighting flyweight champ pancho villa weighing 122 lbs that's jr. featherweight, manny was simply small. trust me how people reacted when it was announced that pac would take on dela hoya.. then cotto.. anyhow, judging by the quality of opposition i would have to go wtih pacquiao if you consider the way he destroyed the possible hall of famers he beat. i also think manny took higher risk but i have to mention mclarnin beat legends in the upper rankings like ross, leonard and canzeroni. Perhaps the 8 titles in 8 divisions with 4 lineal titles in 4 different divisions would more than make up. I would also have to respect carpentier's great feat, i mean from flyweight to heavyweight? that's mindblowing, if only he won titles from other weight classes but really he was just bound to be a light heavyweight great.

  • BOXING: What did DELA HOYA lack resulting to failures in big fights and how great would he be had he won all his fights?

Oscar got a pretty damn good resume winning titles in 6 different divisions only manny pacquiao beat. He had wins against great boxers and hall of famers such as pernell whitaker, julio cesar chavez, arutro gatti, ike quartey, felix sturn, hector camacho etc. He might have ended probably top 15-20 all time had he won all his fights. I mean I understand why he lost fights like him quitting on Felix Trinidad and regardless of what his cornerman says, he could have done more for his legacy. Sure Bhop was naturaly bigger and greater but had he boxed and kept distance which he obviously could then it would not have ended that way. Mosley was a superb boxer but hoya could have done more. Vs Mayweather he obviously just stopped the jabs and being more agressive. I mean there are reasons why he lost for sure but he could have done more.

  • BOXING: where would you rank MANNY PACQUIAO if he beats FLOYD MAYWEATHER?

If you're a mayweather fan of course you'd say hell no it aint gonna happen but then again that wont answer my question so assuming pac beats floyd, where should he rank all time? As far as i remember i believe at one point sugar did say he may have to rearrange his top 10 and steward ranked manny pacquiao top 12 all time. Sugar was so impressed with pac's climb of weight classes even comparing it to hank and steward more on manny's consistent destruction of quality opponents. Of course im not saying you do the same, i just wanna know your thoughts. With or without floyd i believe manny has secured his place in the history books as no matter how easy it is to win paper titles, still no one has won 7 in different weight classed let alone 8. Add the fact that 4 of those were lineal titles. To have a good look as to how difficult these feats are few can only come down to false assumption that only juiced up ones can do such completely disregardinng pac's skill improvement. Among today's boxer's its safe to say manny has fought the most opponents that may land in the hall of fame. Manny beat barrera twice, morales twice, marquez twice, cotto, dela hoya, mosley and maybe hatton. Timothy bradley has a bright future specially both floyd and manny are very close to retiring. Now who else among today's boxers have dominated such names considering manny is almost always givin up size and really up to this point can still make 140. You sum up all these then you add mayweather's name,,
