I had dental work done on my lower right mandible five days ago. The dentist later stated he couldn't numb me properly, so he did an intraosseous injection to my back molars to work on them. Since then, my jaw has been very swollen and painful. I asked the dentist to look at it to see if it was infected, but he says it isn't. It hurts more when I lay down, so I can't sleep properly and I'm out of pain killers as of today. I don't want to ask for more pain killers. This is ridiculous! I had all four wisdoms out and that didn't hurt anywhere near as much or as long as this hurts. I imagine this is what a broken jaw feels like. This wasn't even a root canal. What can I do to get this under control? I am at the end of my wits.

What is it called when a cashier rings up a sale just to get the total and taxes, but not charge the customer? Is that a void-sale? The scenario I'm thinking of is when a customer wants to buy several items but doesn't want to pay unless he knows what it'll cost.

I want to start performing some personal spiritual work for myself and I want to set up a small altar in my home. Where is a good spot for an altar? Do you prefer them in sunny spots or darker more hidden spots? Where is a good place to set up energy-wise?

I want to start my own LLC in Colorado. My DBA name will be different from my actual name. Do I need to register my DBA before I start filing for business/tax licenses and before I file my LLC with the state? I'm a little confused about where DBA registration happens in the business creation sequence.

I have a class II Draw-Tite installed on my '08 Subaru Forester. The lease ends on my current car in November. I'm curious to know if my current tow package would still fit a 2011 Forester or did Subaru change the frame?

I am coming to the end of a lease on an '08 Subaru Forester. Since getting the car, I've been through a lay-off and a job change. My credit picked up two late-pay dings while I was unemployed, but I've been steady with my bills for the past four months. My car lease ends in November. Would it be cheaper for me to buy the car I'm leasing, or sign on for a new car lease? My new job pays 10K less than I was making before and I don't want to pay more than $250/month for a car if I can avoid it.

I'm also curious to know what my fees might be if I buy at the end of my lease versus leasing another Forester.

First, let me say this is NOT TMJ pain.

Here's the deal:

Over several appointments from January to August of this year, I've had all of my upper and lower teeth from my canines through molars on the right side of my mouth restored with Cerec and BruxZir crowns and inlays. Long-term undiagnosed bruxism led to a lot of damage on that side of my mouth.

I had my last exam in November and everything checked out. I had some trouble with margins on two of the Cerecs in June and they were both swapped out for BruxZirs by another dentist who believed I would accelerate wear on them. He took over my care after the first dentist left to have a baby.

Around two to three weeks after that last appointment, I've had crazy pain in both my right masseter and mandible. I feel pain on pressure and any fluctuation in hot or cold. A cold glass of water is nearly intolerable on that side of my mouth. Is it possible for a patient to have a reaction to the cement under the crowns? These crowns weren't anywhere near as sore when they were installed. I'm not sure what to do about it since two dentists have said my teeth and crowns look fine.

I've had several massage instructors recommend Tai Chi exercises to improve health and skills as a developing massage therapist. How come? Why is Tai Chi important for a massage therapist to practice?

I was laid off from my previous job when my previous employer merged with another company this past March. Since then, I have been informed by a couple of places I've applied with that my prior employer refuses to confirm my past employment. This is affecting my ability to get another job and Unemployment isn't going to last forever. Is there any recourse I use to get my previous employer to release my employment dates? I can understand being unwilling to go into opinions on my work performance, but dates and duties shouldn't be a problem.

I've checked the Colorado Department of Labor website, but it looks like they will only handle wage disputes. Does something like this fall under blacklisting or defamation laws? I don't know what to do.

I want to do some research on demons in comparison to vampires for a story I've been contemplating. I am curious to know about social structure, hierarchies, mannerisms, etc. Are there books or resources you'd recommend in which I could learn about them and compare their social structure to that of vampires?

I'm writing a pirate story and at one point, the Quartermaster is killed in an attack. If a valued member of a pirate crew is killed, would his crew bury him ashore or is he put over the side? The story is set in the early 1700s Caribbean.

I am working on a short story in which characters simulate cannon fire. The goal is smoke and noise without firing ammunition. Are the cannons loaded with powder and packed with something, or does the powder just explode with ignition? My characters are working on recreating a battle in the 1700s.

We have two older PCs we want to wipe and donate to a school program. I want to make dead sure that everything on them is erased, however. Can you recommend some good programs designed to irreversibly obliterate everything on a hard drive? I'm not talking about merely 1-pass erasure/reformat. I mean gone for good.

I recently had several teeth rebuilt with Cerec inlays and crowns due to damage from amalgam fillings and bruxism.

Two rear molar crowns on my lower jaw continually trap small food particles between the crown and the gum line. I can get some cleaning with floss between the crowns, but it doesn't get the trapped stuff on the lingual side of the crowns. What do you recommend as a safe method of clearing out the trapped debris? My toothbrush isn't getting it.

Would a sonic toothbrush do a better job?

Also, how do I go about building up my gum tissue under the crowns to make a better seal?

I am trying to remember if the name 'Marek' or 'Merek' is attached to any mythological tales. I keep thinking he's related to the sea in some way, but I am having a tough time locating myths where a Marek is mentioned. Can you think of any?

Does anyone here have any suggestions for relieving chronic dry sinuses? The air where I work is so dry my nasal passages routinely crack and bleed from it. This is painful. My nose doesn't seem to make enough mucus to protect my sinus linings. I am not allowed to have a humidifier at work, BTW.

A friend has a new Facebook account and Facebook keeps generating these annoying yellow windows which point out certain features on her profile page. How do you make those go away when you're sick of looking at them? We tried to check in 'Settings' but we couldn't find a way to shut them off.

Is there a filter someone can set on Facebook's "People you Know" column? I keep getting it filled with people I'm continually not interested in adding. I'd like to be able to choose 'not interested' for some users so that FB can skip them and show me other people instead.

I am interested in installing a trailer hitch on a 08 Subaru Forester. I only intend to use it for occasional light duty (moving motorcycle or light trailer). What kind of tow hitch would you recommend I buy and about how much could I expect to spend getting it installed? Do I have to do anything extra with the car's cooling system or transmission?
