got a 98 chevy blazer that shifts hard to reverse and while driving into the next gear once about 40 it shifts fine, but after 40 the blazer starts accelerating up and down on its own, it does not do this if the blazer is on cruise control, i have replaced the Throttle position sensor with one from Autozone, i have also replaced the Vehicle speed sensor on the Tranny, There are no codes being brought up at all so i am just lost at this point... anyone have any clues.

Here is the deal we changed the motor in my 98 blazer runs great now but it wont shift out of first in drive. If you manually shift from 1st to second it goes fine but wont go past second. I drove this blazer to my brothers to change the motor in it tranny was find no slips or anything we put the same kind of motor back in it any help would be good we checked the ground wires they are all tight.

ok replaced the heads and stuff and cant figure out how dist goes back in exactly i know its got to be perfect or timing is going to be off and i cant get it right any tips or anything please help. where does it need to be facing and such

alright i replaced heads and everything on the blazer but cant figure out correct position of distributor can anyone give me any pointers on where it should be pointing and such.

98 chevy blazer 4.3 v6 has fire to the plugs and is getting fuel but it just turns over and over and over lol. any suggestions

its got the vortec v6 sat outside for a day went to start it and it just turns over it eventually ran that battery down. Before this happened put scan tool on it and it said i had cylinder 4 misfire i have replaced alternator dist...cap and rotor and throttle position sensor. Any suggestions...

currently using windows media player 11 i have a nokia 6061 with usb and cd installed. Computer shows that its there but windows media player does not find it any suggestions..

put a new throttle position sensor on blazer runs great now at about 60 it cut out and i noticed that the tempature gauge also went all the way to zero kinda weird.. i have put new dist and cap rotor wires and plugs and idea whats up now 5 points to best answer

v6 vortech 4.3 slugish idle and slight cut out when running i have replaced the plugs wires dist dist cap rotor and still getting cylinder 4 misfrire any ideas just did scan tool check again map sensor read 0 egr bad and o2 sensor bad these things make it run rough?

you start the motor smoke roles out of pvc on valve cover passenger side. You take something and plug that hole and oil starts coming out of dipstick. Motor run fine at an idle but you accelerate and it misses a little this is a 305 bored 60 over

i was reading a site and it told me to use vegetable oil on wood floors and wipe it in good is there any truths to this i tried it in a small corner and it did shine more but i want to make sure there is no after affects
