  • I cry so easily at stupid things?

I cry very often. I cry during sad movies, certain songs, situations. Everything. If someone confronts me about something, I cry, even if it is no big deal. Even if I am crying Happy tears, I cry so much it becomes hystarics. Once I start I can't stop, even after the issue has been dealt with. I've been this way forever, but I do have clinical depression. I don't know if it's related. I can't help it, no matter how much I Try. It's becoming a problem as I can hardly have any kind of critical communication without crying. And it is super embarrassing. Is this a physical/mental problem? Does anyone else have this issue? What do I do????

  • Kids Tv show about a small human?

I'm trying to find a tv show I used to watch. My friends are convinced it doesn't exist but I remember it. It was animated, about a guy who was like thumbelina. He had a sister who was normal size and two parents, it was sort of like honey I shrunk the kids. He would always get stuck in things or would have to save things. I think he had dark hair too. Also I can't remember but his name might have been George or something. If anyone remembers please tell me what it's called!

  • Should I talk to my AP teacher about this?

I'm in AP literature and composition and we recently did a mock exam. Although we did not read the book in class, I chose to write my essay on Bastard out of Carolina by Dorothy Allison because I thought it fit the prompt perfectly. However, when I told my teacher this, she was furious because she said "she'd never heard of it therefore it could not be a work of literary merit". So I did some research and found that it is considered a classic and has been offered as an option on other times writing prompts. Even some college professors make it part of their curriculum. My teacher said I would get a zero on it, but I don't think that is fair. Should I show her what I've found or just let it go? It really bothered me because she told me all of this in front of my entire class, even to the point that I cried. I don't think it's fair. What should I do? I'm afraid to talk to her in fear that she may tell at me again.

  • Is there a name for my sexuality?

I am not interested in actual sex when it comes to relationships. I am attracted to both men and women when it comes to romance though. I think I like women a little more, and I am a girl. But I don't want to have sex with them I just think they're beautiful and lovely. Does this make me a lesbian even if I don't want to be physical? In fact, I'd rather be physical with a man.

Is there a word to describe this?

Mostly I refer to myself as asexual and do not engage in romantic relationships. Is this correct?

  • Friends jealous of my teacher?

My teacher from last year insists that she drives me home from school even though I live on the other side of town, calls and texts me, invites me to her house a few times a week, buys me gifts, and asks me to have lunch with her every day at school. I'm a female junior in high school, she's in her thirties. She also told me about sex and what it's like and that she loves me. I enjoy my time with her and my parents don't mind, but my friends are jealous and say she's obsessed with me. How can I make them stop?

  • My husband and I want to care for my student?

My husband and I are in our mid-thirties and have two biological daughters. I am a high school English teacher and I've been teaching for 10 years. Last year I taught a girl (she is 17) and since then we've been very close. In the middle of the year I had her, she gradually opened up to me and we have lots in common. I've known her for a year and a half, walked her through some tough times, and we both have a history of sexual abuse. We relate and understand each other, and I love her. I tell her that I am here for her and she has expressed appreciation and love in return.Last week, the girl was in a car accident and lost her mother and father (she's an only child) and she has been in the hospital since. She was in a coma for three days and broke her arm, and now has a concussion. She knows her parents are gone, and is attending their funeral this weekend. Her aunt may become her guardian, but my husband and I would like to. She has a few family members, but the new primary is willing to sign over rights if we decide to take guardianship. My husband and children have met her and known her for a while, and are perfectly accepting of the idea.

My goal has now become to show this girl how much I love her. She has expressed that she is comfortable with me and we are considering asking her if she'd like to live with us. She will be 18 in less than a year and if she chooses not to live with us we will always keep the invitation open. What should we do from here? How should we offer?

  • what is your opinion on my student-teacher friendship?

My friends have been saying that my relationship with my female teacher (I am female too, there is nothing sexual) from last year and I are too close and it gets annoying to them. Here are the things my teacher and I do:

-We eat lunch every weekday together (though recently I've been going only Tuesday and Thursday so I could spend more time with friends).

-We text at least once a week and sometimes talk on the phone if we have to.

-We talk about very deep things, we both have histories of sexual abuse and have confided in each other.

-We hug and she holds my hand during some conversations.

-I've been to her house numerous times and play with her daughters. Sometimes she takes me to the zoo or out to eat and stuff.

-she's the only adult I can really trust in my life, and I do love her, and she has said that she loves me. I enjoy her company and it makes my day to see her.

And yes, my parents are aware that I do these things with her.

Well, even though I care so much for this teacher, I also care for my friends. How do I balance the two?

And how do I make my friends understand how much my relationship with the teacher means, while also showing that I appriciate their friendships as well?

How do I get them to not be so mean about it?

    Thanks!

  • Going to my teachers home?

I have been very close with this teacher over the past year or so, and recently she invited me to her house for Halloween and to hang out. She knows everything about me, as I do about her too, we talk about deep things, she texts me and we have gone out together in public. She has two daughters and has said that she considers me her nonbiological daughter too and that she loves me. I've never been alone with her except in school and in her car. I love her too, and accepted her offer to visit this week. The only thing is that my friend thinks it's inappropriate. And I sort of do too, but I like the attention. She wants to spend time with me. Why is this inappropriate?

  • This girl is getting annoying, how do I get rid of her?

Every day I eat lunch with my former teacher, who I am very close with. She INVITED me to have lunch with her, and it was really nice at first. We can talk about anything and it was quiet time together. However, a few weeks ago a girl overheard that I was eating in there and the next day, showed up with her friend, UNINVITED. I was fine with it at first, but it's been weeks, and she is getting on my nerves. She never stops talking and always interrupts and talks about herself. I have mentioned to the teacher that I don't really like them in there but she can't really tell them to leave but not me. The girl thinks the teacher likes her, when in reality she also gets annoyed with the girl. I am shy and don't want to hurt the girl's feelings, but how do I get rid of her?! Another girl even told her to leave but she keeps coming back. And she won't take little hints. For example, my teacher and I go to a different room on Fridays and didn't tell her so that she wouldn't come. But now she figured out where we were and comes too. What do I do?! This is getting ridiculous.

  • What is the rudest thing someone has said to you?

I was walking into a store the other day and glanced at a man smoking (probably 30 y/o) and he said, "look at me again and I'll turn your a**hole inside out."

I thought that was pretty rude, especially considering I am a minor.
