I've been to this stylist for 20+ yrs and I think her mind was on camping while she was doing my hair. She's out of town now til next week. My hair is in good shape finally. But the summer sun has lightened it to almost a blonde~not me! The color I wanted was a med auburn/ with copper gold(cg 7) and she talked me into using a rb7 to tone it down and not be so viberant. Well, the lighting in her salon is not comparable at all to the sun. I have purple colored hair. I am just SICK. All weekend with a cap? I was told to wash it with Dawn dish detergent. I did, (6 times), then I condition at the end. Some color was in with the suds. My ponytail scrunchie has color on it, after my hair was dried. My cap has color in the inside. Why can't the "purple" go away? Are there any home remedies, that will not harm my hair but take the plum crazy color out of it? Thanks for any expert advice.

My only son is getting married 9/22/07. I have been there for everything in his life. We had a close relationship until he met her. She has done everything in her power to drive a wedge between us. I am divorced from his father~nonfriendly. I am remarried, for whom my son is partially responsible. His step dad and he were on the same wave length about most things. His father(not remarried) and he were never close.She is from a disfunctional family.They ALL were never close until a fatal car accident took her sister.

She did not have the guts to bring me a copy of the wedding invite personally. She called me & told me she dropped it off in the mailbox. It did NOT include my husband's name on the invite(father & Mrs.Jane Doe).

My son asked me, w/ his father, to give him away. Then, I have to sit in the same pew with the ex. My husband is to sit behind me.

No flowers for any of the steps~Just biological relatives. Is she ruthless/tacky or just ignorant and disrespectful?

This replacement will be the 7th one. Always the front driver side. This one lasted about 2k miles. The previous was less than 500mi. and that one came off while driving.Pretty scarey to say the least. All parts are new in the front end in trying to figure out what is chewing them up. We had it aligned and they never seen that the spindle was bad...$$ later. Tie rods, stablizers forks, axle and axle housing, u joints,spindle, etc. The truck has a 4" lift with 33" tires(10" rims). This is a costly procedure to keep having done.Could the frame be bent? It was in an accident back in 99, but took 45k miles for the stock one to go out. Thank you for your answers...we are at a dead end with this one!

It is a 1925 Beckwith upright piano. The finish is starting to alligator(black and bumpy), turning the sheen to a dull and rough finish on the edges and corners. That is the least of my troubles. My aunt had a male cat, unneutered and he sprayed the piano by the foot pedals. How do I rid the piano of the smell, without stripping, which is very expensive and time consuming? Can I use an oil, ie. lemon, linseed? Will it soak in and condition the wood taking the smell of the cat with the absorbsion? Humidity is making the smell more atomized~WOW! I tried Murphy's oil soap and it left it white/dull in the area. That scared me. This is a beautiful piece and want to hand it down to our grandson someday. Thanking you all for your answers.

Monster Power~Power Center HTS 1000 MKII(2700+ joules) is what we have on our 62" HD wide screen Toshiba TV. The TV was just a year old 11/30/06. We have a Toshiba DVD/VCR combo and the satelite DVR plugged into the Monster Power Filter/Protector. We have had the power co.out twice with a recorder on the electric supply~meter. We have replaced all the outlets in the living room; and it has 2 circuits in that room. Tightened all the neutrals in the fuse panel.The Toshiba service rep has been here twice and has found nothing. Everything is running to code(TV, DVD/VCR, DVR) All the outlets are all at code.The house was built in 94. Problem is that we have "smoked" five of them in 15 months. No lightning storms were involved. Monster cable is stumped. Best Buy is astonished, but inexperienced. Now that it's a year after purchace, we are down to mailing them to CA(shipping is $20).What can we safely get away with at a cheaper price?Insurance will not put a seperate writer on the TV.

During the winter, feeding the little song birds, a family of 3 bunnies and a possum is so enjoyable here in Wisconsin. BUT we have a merlin hawk taking advantage of our generosity, like we are feeding/baiting them for his killing convienence. He has killed one of our cats and attacked 2 others, many little birds and bunnies have fallen victim to this lazy killer. It has swooped at my husband in the driveway and at that point, signed it's death warrant! I have called the DNR, they are protected, to a point. I have put out plastic owls and rotate them periodically, shiny things array the yard, whenever we get sunshine, they sparkle. It is full blown winter here and food is scarce for the birds who are use to feeding at our feeders~now and all year long. I can not just stop feeding them. I have bought a pellet gun and would love to blow that killer away but, by the time I spot him, open the door and take aim from the hip....he is airborn. What else can I do?It is a daily event.

The heat, pigs, pork, "I smell bacon" and other such names and phrases were used to describe law enforcement employees. How was the "Fuzz" brought into their description? As far back as I can remember, they were always clean shaven and usually able to pass a physical(meaning fit), until recently seen police official with a full face beard. For inquirying minds..

I seen this movie at the theater when I was very young.I remember there was pranks pulled by "Pitch" like heating up the door knob to a glowing red state.How some things stick with you for years! The title did not stick with me, but the characters did. I would like to know this movie title. Can you help?
