Hi i am on my last cheque of my cheque book and need to pay my nursery bill (its costly so i pay by cheque rather than cash and cannot pay by DD)..

Basically i've missed out the payee (the nursery) and just input how much i wanted to pay by mistake. can i add the payee to the bottom line of the cheque (where i would usually put how much i wanted to pay) or not?

saves me having to order a new cheque book ??

I own 50% of my property and my mum owns the other 50%... basically because i couldnt afford the whol property just myself. however i pay rent to my mum on the other half of the property and we have a full valid and commercial arrangement (she doesnt live with me). she took on this property for her personal investment. im now on statutory maternity pay and will be looking to claim housing benefit for 2-3 months max... would i be entitled on this basis? please only answer if you are HB officer and know

If i use camcorder without Audio - it works

if i try to use it with Audio, it does not record and kicks me straight out back onto the main menu. Also i have noticed that the voice recorder doesnt work nor the voice search.

i have naturally mousy brown hair and had dyed it black last year. last night i decided to bleach it to try and get the black out of my hair. my roots turned orange and the rest of my hair turned a decent dark brown... i want to get the orange out of my hair. i have a government job meeting the public and need to get my hair fixed ASAP. its a sunday and all i have is a 10minute blonde hydrogen peroxide creme colour and a black hair dye. its a sunday so no chance of going to hair dressers round here and cant afford anyway. Please does any1 have any advice to what i do now?!? my partner said i look stupid and cant keep my hair looking like this.

Hiya i need to register my washing machine guarantee but i am having difficulty in finding the serial number. i have looked on the plate behind the door and there are several numbers on there and i do not know which one is the serial number. i have the model number, just not the serial number. please can someone advise me which number it is - i.e how many digits or where exactly on the plate it is? thanks

this is a really SERIOUS question... why do i bleed when i poo?

this has been happening for about 3 months now and i dread going to the toilet because it hurts so much. I poo and i bleed fresh red blood (its not internal and doesnt come out inside my poo so it not a serious infection or anything) ..,. but i want to know are there any creams i can buy without going through the embarassment of visiting my doctor?

basically when i poo it scrapes my skin and killlssssssss me and makes me bleed (when i wipe theres a fair amount of blood)

im doing a meal tomorrow for my boyfriend (god knows what i'll do for a starter) but im going to do bacon wrapped chicken stuffed with cheese and i dont know what to have with it.. hes picky, he doesnt like rice and only veg he likes is carrot. chips is a bit boring and plain.. he would have mash or roasts but i think it might be dry, like i should do a sauce maybe? i just dont know what to put with it

My sons always been fine with food, he's at stage 2 at the moment. he's been on solids since he was 4/5months. he loves his food but the past couple of days hes not been eating and today hes not ate anything except 2 yoghurts, half a breadstick and a small slice of apple. he's not had any of his food like cottage pie that he normally would scoff down and no porridge in the morning which he would also normally scoff down. He's got no teeth yet so maybe he's teething but is it that bad for some that they just dont eat at all? please help, i dont know what to do, i tried to force feed him but i dont want to hurt him and he just spits it out anyway. He is really drowsy too - probably from the lack of food!

im having a bit of trouble. I put an offer in for a house im interested in. I looked around for a mortgage but i cant get an agreement in principle until i have had my mortgage offer accepted....BUT i cant get my mortgage accepted until i have a valid agreement in principle. IM SO CONFUSED!!!???!! im stuck... no agreement in principle = no offer accepted... but no mortgage offer accepted = no agreement in principle.. Anyone know what i should do or who i should go to. I tried an online agreement in principle but they called and said i needed the offer to be accepted too...so i was stuck again!

Hi, i was in the bath last night and sales man came to door and persuaded my boyfriend to switch our gas and electric over to Southern Electric. He's signed a contract but i think we have a week to cancel or so. Was wondering if they do save you money like they say they do. I was previously with E-on and British Gas.. Do they bring a good service? has anyone had any problems with them? please help!

I had a baby 6months ago and i feel ready to start my exercise to lose the weight. ive not got much extra baby fat but i want to get rid to make the stretchmarks less noticeable. I bought a yoga dvd with yoga mat etc, also an exercise bike and a stepper.. but i dont know which to start first to get me going as i dont want to start then feel too unhealthy to continue. i dont want to go to any gyms or dance classes just yet as i dont feel confident.

so what do you think i should start with; Yoga, Bike, Stepper? or any other household things besides cleaning and SEX to get me fitter gradually.
