  • How do you calculate friction?

I'm a sophomore and i need to calculate friction for a science experiment. Our lab was basically setting up a ramp and covering it with different materials to see how they affected the speed at which the hot wheel slid down it. Is there a formula I can use that will tell me how much friction the car experienced from the different surfaces?

    Thank you!

  • How can I make youtube videos load faster on my computer?

  • Which colour scheme is nicer in a room?

I'm redoing my room, and trying to figure out a colour scheme. I'm thinking either :

    Turquoise and Chocolate Brown

or Dark pink and chocolate brown

    both would have white accents.

Does anyone have any suggestions of which one would be easier to find furniture and bedding for?

    And which would look nicer?

    Thanks!

  • My cat is limping, and I'd like some advice.?

He's mostly an outdoor cat, and he is 17 years old. We would love to have him inside, but he doesn't like it as much. But recently, he's started to limp very badly, so I brought him inside.

Basically, I should take him to the vet, right? (That's probably pretty obvious, but my parents don't think it's serious enough.)

Is it likely that he was injured? Or do 17-year old cats often limp from age?

    Thank You.

  • Women's rights during and before the Industrial Revolution?

Hey, I'm doing a project on Women's Rights during the Industrial Revolution. (18th/19th century.)

I get that they didn't have many rights, and received way less pay than men. What I can't seem to find is when their rights actually did change.

It'd be very helpful if anyone could provide information or links.

    Thank you!

  • What can I do to stop my cat from crying?

She is spayed and about 3 years old. About 2 years ago, she had kittens. We found homes for all of them.

I have this blanket that I used to sleep with every day when I was younger, and now it's just in my closet.

Every day when I come home the blanket is pulled out of my closet into my hallway, and my sister saw our cat pulling it, rolling in it, and crying really loudly. Is it possible that the kittens somehow came in contact with the blanket and their scent is upsetting her? I don't think this makes sense though, seeing as they were here 2 years ago. I also heared somewhere that most cats don't even remember their babies for very long after the babies are given away. Is this true? Any advice?

  • Please help me with my Windows Vista Ultimate toolbar?

So when i first got my laptop, the toolbar (thing at the bottom) was like the vista version, blue and round (haha i sound so dumb) but my computer automatically did some updates, and now the toolbar looks more like one of the classic versions. I've tried to change it, but it doesn't seem to list the Vista style as an option. I'm so confused. :(
