Not about what other africans are doing to africa now.

A lot of black people are reposting stuff about how we shouldnt support france because they are apparently still taxing african countries. I looked this up and the only sites that posted it were those "pro-black" sites and litterally no where else. I mean maybe they are but i dont think this information is correct.

But people post all about that stuff that happened hundreds of years ago...but never post about what going on now. Such as corrupt african government's, afircans enslaving and killing their own people, and the african terrorist groups. Why

Ive never been able to have friends fo rsome reason. I know a lot of people say they dont have friends but in fact do but i litterally dont.

I have MAYBE one friend and hes not really all that great. He only hangs out with me sometimes. but i mainly spent the last 21 years in my room sleeping, or playing videos games. In high school i tried to make friends and thatd last about a week. And of the people i know id say hey we'd talk for a little and theyd go on about their day. I never get invited to stuff.

Im in the military now and im overseas so im really getting out of my comfort zone to meet people since i dont know anyone. 2 guys i worked with invited me out and i said yeah but then they never got me. Then they were talking about it the next day. Ive asked my roomate if he went out would it be cool if i came along and he said yeah but then proceeded to forget me. I met a guy and we played xbox a little and i asked him twice if he wanted to go out and drink or something and he declined. And lastly theres this girl i was talking to about buying a camera so i got her number and i was going to ask if she wanted to hang out sometime but she hasnt even text me back about buying the camera. Its really frustrating because i spent the past 3 weekends sitting in my dorm playing video games and i feel like a loser. Theres not much to do on base so everyone either works or goes off base.

Idk what im doing wrong. Im kinda awkward but not like creepy. Its very lonely. Any help?

So theres this girl and she kinda confuses me. She knows i like her but she really doesnt say much about whether she likes me or not. Last time we talked she told me that if i wasnt moving to another country we could date. Idk if she was just using that as an excuse.

Anyway i came home for a little and we hung out. She always eats after me and we kiss and we hang out a bit. But the difference was when i came back she would complement me and stuff. It was different. But when i left i just gave her a kiss on the cheek instead of the lips and told her "just friends right' and she laughed and said yeah.

I really think id like to have her as a friend more than a girlfriend because shes cool but idk what we are. I havent really ever hung out with girls so idk if this is normal.

As you can see im in the military. I have always suffered from terrible anxiety. I try to get over it because I feel its all in my head but when i risk it something weird always happens. Due to this i haven't been able to develop interpersonal relationships. I don't even know what to say to my family sometime.

I just got to my first base and i tried but it's not going well. It's a small shop and they all know each other and joke but i just kinda sit and try to work. They invited me out and i said yeah but they never got me. Today i walked in and said good morning and everyone just kinda looked at me and went back to talking. Idk what to do i kinda just shut down. I'll just do my work and leave and I'm fine with that. But it's a small shop and officers to enlisted joke with each other and idk how to respond. Then I'm on edge all day trying to make sure i don't say something weird so I'm not focused on work. But when I focus on work i feel like I'm not fully being a team player because i didn't talk or even react to anyone in a friendly way.

I'm also overseas so it's really lonely and i don't know anyone back home to talk to so idk. I want to meet people and do stuff but i feel like I'm incapable of being socially normal.

Im feeling really ashamed to be black lately. I used to have really low confidence as a kid because other black kids would tell me im not black because i acted a certain way. But as i grew up i grew more confident and loved myself and honestly i think im pretty good looking. But sometimes i wish i was born another race. Because its just seems like im supposed to hate myself and its all from other black people. Theres this whole team light skin team dark skin thing as if theres 2 different races. Everyone post about facebook about what a real "N*gga" should be like and a lot of people think a certain way about white people and i dont agree with it. Theres a really stupid mentality with some black people. Im looked down on if i date any race of girl besides a black girl. I dont have lips or eyes like a black person.

I really just want to be me but some black people keep telling me im not black. Its really depressing. What should i do.

So just everything thats going on in america right now is bad. I think tehre are some good cops but no one cares and i dont blame them. Cops shouldnt be congratulated for treating people with respect as thats their job. But when the cops do bad things and arent held to repercussions then that becomes the face of police officers.

Just think if cops are treating people with extreme force for small things like jaywalking or selling cigarettes or even just standing in one spot too long how will they treat actual criminals. they wont hesitate to kill them. Now im not saying police officers deserve to die but i feel like unless a system is put in place that actually holds officers accountable the situation will get worse and then people will start killing police officers without a thought because they will just be seen as another bad guy. And honestly if thats what it takes i think it should be done. Becasue these officers apparently dont see that their actions reflect on every police officer in america and another officer may die for what they did.

Really i dont see any other way because people can protest all they want but it wont do anything. Because if we cant trust police then the system doesnt work and if the system doesnt work then police are useless

So i havent really been in a situation of abuse but ive been close.

I got stopped and search on the street once. it was a female cop who asked for back up and 2 big male cops cam and stood behind me while she searched me.

Another time me and my friend were walking down the street and stopped for a second trying to figure out where we were and then a cop pulled up almost hitting us telling us to get on the car.

Lastly me and my family were driving at like 1 in the morning and we got pulled over by a cop. Then 2 more cops pulled in front of us and they all got out point guns at our car saying hands up. Then told us our light was dim.

So im kind of paranoid now. I know there are good cops but i dont think im willing to take that chance. They are allowed to use pretty much any amount of force and they dont get in trouble but if you try to defend yourself they can uuse even more force. Theyre basically like thugs without repercussions. Idk what to do because for some reason they arent held to laws. If i stay and get abused nothing happens but if i try to get away and they kill me or something still nothing happens.

Me and a friend had been talking about starting a business. We pretty much both agreed on the type of business and i wrote out a business plan and got some figures on how much it would cost us to start it up and how long it would take to make a profit. i estimated we'd need about 30k to start. I am in the military so we agreed to start in when i get out.

I started some saving stuff and am putting away 500 a month so buy the time im out ill have around 21000. I am also getting books on the subject and am going to major in business just to have more knowledge.

He's freelancing for people which is fine but he's cheating himself. He's doing a lot of work for free and is also spending his money on equipment so he's not really saving any. He says its fine because he's getting exposure but idk. I told him that he should start charging a little more because between gas, time and equipment he's basically paying to work for other people.

He really wants to start this business and i think he's serious but i just don't think he's thinking long term. He says that its good for him to get te exposure and experience but in the long term i think ill come back with 20k ready to start a business and he wont be able to contribute.

Should i make a back up plan for myself just in case?

I just got my first station and i was the only person from my tech school who got it so im here alone. It in italy so i want to experience everything. But im a bit of an introvert.

Ive been here a week and met a lot of people but havent really made friends. I dont see a lot of people walking around base unless theyre about to start working.

The main way i see to meet people would be at the DFAC during dinner hours. I usually eat in the Dfac during breakfast and lunch to see if anyone come in but its mostly NCOs. But at night i take it back to my dorm so i can eat it and watch a movie or something but i noticed this is when a few other people are in there all sitting alone. My biggest thing is idk how to introduce myself without it being weird. The girls might think im trying to flirt (i dont know how not to flirt with girls) and the guys might think im kinda off. Plus im not sure if they just wanna eat their food and leave.

Any tips on what i could say when i sit down or something?

Meet a girl and she was really cool. We hung out and at first I liked her but then we were just friends, or so I thought.

We've hung out maybe 3 times this month and she knew I was leaving. So she was telling me that we should hang out more and go drinking before I leave for a while. I said sure.

The first day we were supposed to go she bailed because she went to a friend's recital which she told me she might. The next day she said she was too sick to drink but we could just hang out the next day (yesterday). I messaged her yesterday and she just didn't respond ever. It says she hasn't seen it which is weird. I sent her a message again today because I'm leaving abd still no response. I see she accepted event invites and posted something but she hasn't responded and I'm confused.

Why would she get close to me and tell me she wants to hang out and then not even respond? Honestly it kinda hurt me because a girl I was dating just dissed me too.

How do you talk to girls just to hook up or get a FWB type relationship. I keep talking to girls i like and im just being me and they assume i want to hook up and idk why. Like ive been in their rooms just chilling and leave and then like weeks later theyll be like All you want to do is hook up and ive never even had sex.

I figure if this is how theyll treat me thats how i act. and it seems to work out for other guys. But i dont know how to act that way. any tips?

Im a genuine guy. Im not overly nice but im also not mean. im sincere in everything i do. But every time i get rejected by a girl no matter if we've been talking a short time or a long time they always say i only wanted sex. I am extremely shy so i have never made a move for sex. the most ive done is asked a girl if she wanted to make out and she laughed about it and said no. I message her after and like a week later she bring sit up again saying im a pig and all i want to do is hook up.

Like im not that type of guy. If i wanted to hook up id say that. But i always get accused of being that guy and im sick of it.

I got a pair of pants that were too small for me from amazon. I went to the store and got the same pair that were the right size and processed a return through amazon. I accidentally put the pants that fit me in the return package to amazon and didnt notice until they closed. This was yesterday(sat) and theyre closed today(sunday). IM not sure if they ship things on sunday or not.

Im also leaving the country tomorrow. I was going to try to go to the store when they open at 12 but would theyve shipped by then?

So I've been played back to back by every girl I talk to. I literally got played a few days ago. Anyway there's this girl I've been talking to a while. At one point we were talking and she told me she didn't trust me because she didn't know me well enough.

But when I met her again months later (i was out if state) she was a lot warmer to me. We talked abd got to know each other more and got into a deeper conversation. She told me she really enjoyed talking to me and that she wishes we hung out more. She makes time for me, and complements me and even eats after me. Even when I leave she's starred giving me tighter hugs than usual.

But she doesn't really tell people how we me (i just started talking to her one day) and she introduces me as a friend.

So idk if she's just very comfortable with me or if she likes me. Also idk about the situation cause I just have a distrust of women due to my past

So we bought a car and the interest was pretty steep. But me having little credit and needing a car I got it since I didn't have many options. It turns out the company stacked on payments (telling us it came with the car when in fact it didn't). We cancelled this the same month we found out but didn't get it approved until 6 months after as they gave us the run around. We got a lot less money back than we paid. they also work the money around so we are actually only paying fur the interest and not the car. Anyway they haven't applied the money to the principal yet (wanting to get as much interest as possible I guess) and we want to refinance to a better company.

How do we get them to apply it so we can refinance?

Also can we report them? They are doing a lot of shady stuff.

Ive been talking to this girl for about 6 months. Mostly online (i was out of state) but for the last 2 months we've been dating...or so i thought.

Im leaving soon and i told her to message me when shes free so we can hang out. The 2 days she told me were days i was busy so i asked her if those were the only days. Then she (in summary) the conversatoin goes like this

Her: Im busy. ive already sacrificed a lot of my time

Her: forget it (then 10 minutes later) im letting you know im going out of my way because you want to hang out

Me: Told her how it seemed like she was having fun which is why i sacrificed my more of my time and my money (hour drive away and i always paid)

Her: She said she wasnt sure how she felt about me because we only got together 2 times (because she was soo busy) and that she thinks im looking for a relationship and im a nice guy blah blah

Me: ok

Her: i would still like to talk to you if thats alright. and we could still go out

Me: ok. movie? (so i wouldnt have to talk to her)

Her: lets go play pool then go to a movie so we can talk

Me: ok

I figured id go just to see what happens. Then i see she post on facebook that she went to a golf park with some 40 year old dude (she's 20) today. It really made me feel like a piece of **** so i dont wanna go anymore. Should i be a "nice guy" and cancel or just not show up?

Im a pretty picky dresser and its hard to find clothes i like. I usually shop on jack threads but right now they dont have any clothes i like that are in my budget.

Most online stores are way too expensive ($80 for a sweater?) and most of the clothes that i like are made in such a weird style (Itll be perfect but add some random hipster thing in there to ruin it).

I usually wear a nice pair of levis but its hard to find tops that look good, arent too childish, arent too serious, or overpriced. Any tips

A man is expected to pay for the date but if he expects sex its wrong.

A man isnt allowed to see other women when just dating but a woman can see other men

A man is supposed to contact her first at all times but she isnt expected to respond

Basically i feel like men are to put in all the effort while women sit back and decide whether they like you.

I enjoy taking her out but im not made of money and her saying that also made it feel like she s using me. I feel like if you re limiting what happens whats the point of dating.
