  • what time do you get up on christmas morning and what do you do?

i am usually up between 5 and 7 and wait in my room untill the time i have agreed with my mum that i can come downstairs. while i am in my room i open my stocking and play with/use whats in it. when i am allowed down i put everything back in my stocking and go downstairs and look at the tree and play with my dogs (one of them died this year so it will be dog this year) while stopping our airedale from trying to open the presents under or tree until my parents get up then i open my presents and give my dog his present. later my parents open there presents as they are too tired to concentrate on anything when they first get up but i will have been up for ages already.

i am 21 and love christmas more than anything

  • what age should a toy poodle be spayed (in scotland)?

a family friend has a puppy and she is too young to get spayed but is a little sex pest and last time she came over spent the whole time flirting with our male (neutered) dog and throwing herself at his feet and getting him to chase her (she was so concentrated on getting him to follow her she ran into a pole). our dog was getting really upset as he doesn't really understand what to do . the only times he has humped anything was one with another male dog and he humped his head instead of his rear and he has done it a couple of times with his bed. also he is a large airedale and she is a cocker cross cavalier so she is the same size as his head so if he worked out what to do he would crush her if he tried. our friends other dog is a basset hound and she apparently constantly flirts with him but he is more her size.

i am going to be getting a female puppy next year and i want to get her spayed as soon as possible so if she does turn out to be flirty he has to put up with it for as short a time as possible.

  • when would be the best time to tell my gran im getting a puppy?

i am going to be getting a puppy probably next year at easter but possibly sooner.

thing is i am really close to my gran and i tell her everything but i know if i tell her im getting a puppy she will worry.

she has a lot to worry about what with me being severely disabled and ill, her not being able to get in touch with my uncle (her youngest sun), her daughter (m aunt) over doing things and never giving her self a rest even though she has hyperthyroidism and never seems to have a day off, her best friend struggling to get hearing aids that work, her other friend (a man) being very clingy and weird (he came and looked through her window i one evening with his face up to the glass and he even called her in the middle of the nigh (she has a phone by her bed) and staying silent. when he eventually spoke he denied that he even called her and infact that she called him but it was not her number, she could not get back to sleep after that as she lives alone. he also randomly comes over and goes into her garden. he tries to get her to tell him personal things.

we don't think we should tell her at least until the puppy is born but we also think i should wait until i have the puppy or am on my way to get it but i am thinking about not telling her at all and she just finds out when she sees the puppy in person.

i just don't want her to needlessly worry.

  • what is the best way to train a puppy to go to the toilet on a puppy pad?

i will be getting a puppy next year and since i am disabled and need a stair lift to get from my room to outside we are thinking about pad training it instead of taking her outside every 10 minuets like we have always done (this will be my dog only so she will be wherever i am and most of the time im upstairs in my room). she will be taken outside as well i just cant keep going up and down like that all the time, for one reason it would cause me to have more seizures. our airedale never needed to be trained as he never went in the house so it has been nearly 9 years since i have had to toilet train a dog

  • what would be the best dog puzzle for my dog?

he is a large airedale that is very smart but is also a complete wimp. he likes to punch things and nose things. i think if it is too simple he would master it in seconds.

i need one you can get off amazon.

  • why did i not have to have my arm raised the second fusion?

i have had both joints in my right thumb fused (i had 2 operations when i was a baby on my thumbs but i cant remember them because i was 1 and 2 at the time) and when i got the first fusion in the children s hospital i had to have my arm in a sling hanging of a drip pole. the second fusion in the adult hospital i did not have to have this, not even a sling. i also had to have the wires taken out, both in the adult hospital, as we now know i have an extreme allergy to metal, and no sling then either. the last 3 operations i woke up with my arm lying down beside me but the first fusion i woke up with my arm already in the sling and it was propped up beside me so my hand was in the air and as soon as i got back to my room they hung my arm off a drip pole. the hospital i go to is absolutely offal and my mum thinks that's the reason.
