Aside from church, I'm somewhat puzzled on this. I have a couple of "good" outfits which are sort of mouldering away in my closet. They're far from "designer," but they which would certainly be inappropriate at Walmart or the super market -- the main places I ever go. Your thoughts?

In my (rust-belt) city people are buying houses but not as individuals -- the buyer of a house at 123 Main St. is listed as, for example, "123 Main St. LLC." What could that mean, and why? Thanks for any info.

I'm thinking now of a pair I had in the mid-1950s. They had 4-inch heels, were black patent leather, and the front of them was decorated with some kind of black-and-white zebra type leather. Oh my, that was about as stylish as I ever could become (I thought.) Then there was another pair -- I.Miller wedgies in a beautiful bronze color, with gold studs in the wedgie heels....ah, memories. What were your favorites/

,,,here's the story. A dear male friend of mine has five children from a previous marriage. Of these five, ONE remembered him on Father's Day. This is _not_ because he was an uncaring father -- I knew him when his kids were young, and he was caring and thoughtful of them. What kind of response could go to these adult brats who made a good Dad feel (and be) forgotten on his day?

...I am told by the county zoning office that "This lot is not a vested lot. It is part of lot 27." What does that mean? I know it was part of a two-acre property. I bought one of the acres and paid for it. But what does 'vested' mean? Many thanks for any information.

how are your newspapers doing? Here in the US, newspapers are in steep decline. Many have gone out of business, and the remaining ones are losing subscribers. From what I read, England has many more newspapers than we have in the US. If so, are they thriving? Thanks for your thoughts.

...why do some white horses have pink noses while others have gray noses? Really, I think white horses are among the most beautiful creatures on the earth. I know some are albinos -- pink eyes, etc. -- but some non-albino white horses have pink noses, and others, gray. Why? Thanks in advance for any info.

In the real world, we don't go anywhere without one -- but not in the movie/tv world. Is it because so many of these are made by men, who would not realize how important women's handbags are? What's your opinion?

A book -- which I believe means a novel, 50,000 words and up -- is many times more difficult to write than a short story. Also far more difficult to sell or even give to an ezine. Yet it seems most young authors here prefer the book length. Why? (Thanks for your thoughts.)
