  • Lovebird and Budgie living together, but not in the same cage?

I'm getting a baby lovebird in a few weeks as well as eventually a baby budgie as my other budgie died.

I'd like to 'raise' them together but I know full well that they can't be kept in the same cage. My question is, can I own both at the same time, raise them 'together' both from babies, or would it be better to go with one or the other? I'd prefer two birds but the love bird is a definite, I've been waiting on the breeder to start breeding them for months and the first of the eggs have just started hatching yesterday and I'm so excited - but I'd also like a budgie, yet I wouldn't want them fighting or anything. If I'm handling one, should I leave the other in their cage or would they be okay out at the same time as long as I supervise? Maybe it'll depend on their personalities.. I don't know. I'm aware they wouldn't usually get along, as is why they'd have separate cages. There's also an adult cocktail in the house that belongs to my sister but they'd be kept separate and wouldn't even know the other exists. Advice please.

  • How likely is it for me to be pregnant?

Around a few months ago I started to get this gut feeling that I could not have kids, which is something I've always wanted. I've had unprotected sex with my one and only boyfriend/sexual partner a few times since last november, and nothing. Up until this month.

My last period ended the 2nd of september, I usually have a pretty regular cycle, 30 days, and according to a few online ovulation calculators, my most fertile day this month would have been the 14th, but because I was having this 'throw caution to the wind because it's not like I can have a baby anyway' phase, I had unprotected sex on the 7th, 12th, 14th and 15th.

Now, for a bit of tmi stuff. I have light coloured breasts, I have super fair skin and I've never had "obvious" areolas, colour wise, because those parts are usually the same colour as the rest of me, until about three days ago when they have become a few shades darker so that you can see an obvious difference in skin tone.. also, my nipples hurt, a lot.

I've been peeing a lot, I have lower abdomen discomfort, the feeling is not painful, but it is definitely not comfortable and feels kind of heavy.

I've also had light pink 'spotting' for the past two days and my back has hurt so terribly sine this morning.

I haven't got much of an appetite except for cold water and coffee, I'm a tea person so the coffee is a weird thing for me. I've had the urge to throw up many times to the point of feeling it at the back of my throat, but never have actually vomited.

I'm expecting my period on the 28th or so of this month, 22 days from the first time my boyfriend finished inside of me, and 15 days from my 'most fertile period / ovulation' days

What do you think? I'm kind of telling myself it's just my mind playing tricks on me, but I'd like some opinions.

  • One sentence, two questions?

Would somebody please edit this sentence to be grammatically correct, if it isn't already?

"I had always been full of questions, but who was I to ask them? More to the point, who could I ask them to?"

  • Revision Help: Distance/Displacement?

I'm not sure how to write the answer to this out..

"If you move 10 km North, 10 km East, and 10 km South, what is your displacement, and what is the total distance traveled?"

I know that the total distance would be 30 km, but I'm not sure how to write out the displacement with all three directions.. if that makes sense.

    Help? :)

How much would you personally pay a 15 year old to babysit for 8 hours?

  • Babysitting a three year old, help?

I've recently been offered a permanent babysitting job, 3 - 4 times a week, 7pm to 11pm/12am. (It might interfere with some of my other activities but hey, $40 a night isn't bad, lol)

Anyway, I'll be sitting for three children at once - for the first time.

    Three girls, ages 3, 6 and 8.

I'm not too fussed about the two older ones, but I'm a little concerned about the little one because I've never dealt with a 3 year old before. How are things different? As in, making dinner, giving baths, putting to bed? What do I do if she refuses to eat her dinner, or won't go to bed?

Her Mum said the 6 and 8 year old will be easy to put to bed but I may have a tiny bit of trouble with the youngest, help?

Also, I'm 15. If that makes any difference.

  • Can unborn babies lose and gain weight?

When a pregnant woman gets an ultrasound, can they can tell you approx what the baby weighs? or not?

If so, can the unborn baby lose and gain weight? Like, if they are, say, 6 pounds, but the next time you go for an ultrasound, they're less than that? something like that..

    I'm not pregnant, just curious.

  • How would you go about moving to Uk?

I'm 15 currently, in year Ten. Australian.

I've always wanted to study and live in the UK, but obviously I have a fair while until I can. I'm not even legal yet.

My "dream" is to do my first and possibly second year of University in Melbourne, but then relcocate to the Uk and finish my education there.

Problem is, I don't even know if that's possible lol.

What would this involve? Costs, eligibility, scholarships, age, all of that?

Thank you for any information you could give..

I am just very curious and like planning my future out n_n

  • Who gets paid more, a Photographer or a Graphic designer?

A photographer who photographs engagement pictures, babies, landscapes, that kind of thing Vs. a Graphic designer who mainly does Skateboard designs and sometimes other commercial projects on the side, who, in your opinion, should or does get paid more?

(It's for my story, they're the two job choices)

Or, is there a job that combines these things..?

  • Can a Japanese person have..?

I'm writing a story in which a part Caucasian part Mexican female, and a part Caucasian part Japanese male have a child. I want to describe the child as having "Sparkling green eyes" from his mother's side, which I believe is totally possible(?) to have fairly tanned skin (That's possible right?)

and his hair to be a very dark brown but with a reddish tinge from his father side, maybe?

    My question is,

    A. Is that possible, for a half Caucasian half Japanese person to produce a child with dark hair with a reddish tinge? If not, what's the closest to it?

    B. With that mix, should the child more-so have lighter skin or is tanned skin acceptable?

and on a different subject, C. If Mexican is a nationality, then is the race automatically Mexican, or is there more to it..?

Thankyou in advance and no idiots, please?

I'm really wanting to write about this because It is a gorgeous mix,

a half Japanese friend of mine had a baby with a Mexican and the baby is so cute n_n
