What could be causing my frequent sleep paralysis?
I know what usually causes it, but I tend to get it frequently, and I also have an odd thing where sometimes I'll wake up because I had some kind of hallucination of someone calling my name in an angry voice, so I was wondering if maybe there's some kind of neurological or psychological or something disorder I should consider getting myself checked out for.
2 AnswersPsychology5 years agoAre there any adoption agencies that will allow single people to adopt?
I have no interest in getting married or pregnant, but I want to have kids someday, are there any adoption agencies that will allow single people to adopt?
2 AnswersAdoption5 years agoWhy is the legal adult age in America 18 and not 25?
Your brain usually finishes developing in your mid twenties to early thirties so why are you considered an adult long before that?
I'd think it make more sense to not be allowed to drink or have sex or join the army or any of that stuff until you're completely grown up but am I missing something or is it just a case or the age was set before we figured this out?
3 AnswersLaw & Ethics5 years agoDoes race matter or not?
My entire life I've been told it doesn't matter beyond the fact some people get shot for being a certain skin color, and that we should work to make it so its not even that.
Now people are telling me that an entire's person's identity is based off their skin color, that children can only relate to fictional characters of the same skin color and that I'm racist for thinking the former.
Can someone, without attacking me or anyone, please explain what the heck is going on? Am I missing something here?

3 AnswersHistory5 years agoI'd like to cut off contact with my step dad when I move out but I don't want to stop talking to my mom. Any advice?
I really hate my stepdad, but I really love my mom and I can't tell her because it will upset her. What should I do?

6 AnswersZoology5 years agoWhy can't I draw people any more?
One day I drew a little kid and thought it was the best drawing of a person I ever drew. After this when ever I try to draw people it's suddenly like I've never even picked up a pencil before.
What could be causing this and how can I fix it?
1 AnswerDrawing & Illustration5 years agoIs this a bad opening scene?
The main character (a 15 year old boy named Vincent) wakes up at noon, his father yells at him for being lazy and good for nothing, then tells him to get a suit case and pack because he's not going to waste his money raising worthlessness.
4 AnswersBooks & Authors5 years agoWould this be a savior complex?
I have the desire to help everyone. I have the desire to make everyone happy. I have no intent to gain anything from this, I don't even care if I'm considered a good person or not because of this. I just geuniunly enjoy helping people.
Ever since I was little I've had thoughts like "Why do people have to suffer? Why can't I suffer for them?" and I would willingly give my life for a stranger. Again no desire to gain anything from any of this.
Would this qualify as a savior complex?

1 AnswerMovies5 years agoYoutube not letting me skip adds?

1 AnswerYouTube6 years agoWhy do women want to talk about their private lives so much?
I notice a lot of "news" articles recently about stuff like "Why I chose to get an abortion" or "I have had unmarried sex do not call me a slut for it." and similar.
To me that sort of stuff seems like something you would only talk about with close friends and family and I fail to see why they would want to reveal that to the entire world. I can kind of understand if they're trying to make a point about something but aren't there was to do that without revealing their personal affairs?
2 AnswersOther - Society & Culture6 years agoGood horror movie suggestions?
Preferably ones that don't rely on gore and jump scares. Maybe similar to Carrie or The Shining.
If you sugest The Babadook you're not getting the ten points.

15 AnswersPhilosophy6 years agoOther than jumpscare abuse, what do you think is a major problem with modern horror movies?
For me it's when they show too much of the monster/ghost/demon/thing. Especially when the monster looks stupid like the Babadook or Mama.
