I just spoke to this girl that I've liked for 7 months. She revealed that she's been having feelings for this guy she's met and it's been going on for about a month.

I am totally crushed. I can't sleep because of that.

Because we met while traveling, I've been working my *** off to go meet her again, (8hrs day plus a side job is pretty exhausting.) and I wait up till 2am for her to text back when she's free from her school work.

I really dk what to do right now. I did tell her that I liked her and would love to have the chance to date her.

1) I screwed up big, I don't even know if we can be friends now.

I know I should just move on, but the feelings she gave me are so different, just like when I had my first love. Those kind of feels. I'm absolutely broken right now.

She's also fiercely loyal and dedicated which is why I love her. I really don't know if I ever stand a chance again?

And the guy, I feel is just pulling a fast one on her cause of her relatively innocent nature... (but probably cause I'm just jealous)

What can I do next to salvage anything that may be left??

Hello Everyone!

I have a garmin echo 150, and i'm thinking of changing to the striker 4, due to the discontinued model of garmin 300c.

However, it only comes with a transom mount, and i've no interest in drilling a hole in the hull. (I've been using in hull transducers, and its spoilt now, doesn't give a reading)

So is it possible to use the transom mount as an inhull mount? The boat is a Chaparral sunesta 224.

So, the girl i'm dating has been using online dating apps such as OKCupid, and Tinder.

She was heart broken a year ago, started using it, then i came into her life (not from there) and she told me she stopped, but secretly still uses them all. She tells me she has 'friends' on there.

I explained to her that its an app for hooking up, and i don't feel comfortable about it, especially after she lied about not using it.

I feel that she finds more joy in those apps that me. She was more interested in talking to guys on those apps that she even forgot to collect my burger for me when i was busy trying to buy a cake for her to eat.

She's told me she don't use it anymore, but clearly she uses it. I know it, i've seen her use it, i just decide to put my trust in her, but i feel like its just too much. I'm tired of feeling disappointed and getting upset about this.

Please advice.

Hello everybody,

i've always had this worry. I was bullied when i first got into this academy at 17. I couldn't cope with the regimentation and constantly felt trapped though i couldn't leave.

Because of it, i was constantly worried and was unable to make good friends within the academy in the first few months. They bullied me quite badly, and there were times that i would just silently cry. I was transferred out to another department within the academy and things slowly got better.

In about 2 months, we will all graduate and head to university. I realised that many of the bullies will be in the same university as me.

I worry, i don't wish to have any thing to do with them, but i would have to face them again soon. They are massive gossipers and backstabbers. (they did this to me in the academy..) I don't want my reputation in the university to be ruined before i even start.

I want to start afresh, but find it so tough.

Have you faced an old bully? How did you deal with them?

I've been seeing an increase in jobs having the pre-requisite of having to work overseas for certain periods of time during a year and probably have to respond to overseas meetings etc.

Duration would be about 2-4 weeks overseas, and about a month home.

Would you be supportive of this job of his/her?

So this girl and I have been talking, I'm pretty into her.

She just finished the gym class, and since it was late she said she's feeling lazy to shower.

So I jokingly said, just go to sleep, you're always dirty anyway.

And then, all of a sudden, she flips.

Like saying: I'm so rude, and it's the worst thing she's been called in her life. And how it's the 2nd chance she giving me to go after her and how I ruin it.

Am I missing something here?

I clearly meant it as a joke. can someone enlighten me on how wrong it can be taken?

This girl who I've a crush on, asked me if I liked her. I just replied "of course. If not I wouldn't talk to you!"

Then she ignored it and we kept talking.

Then after a day,

She asked why I keep talking to her?

I'm literally stunned, right now.

How should I reply?

We are in different cities right now, I work 2 jobs (since we're pretty young, 20). And will only see her in November. But will give her a call probably over the weekend.

Anyway, her replies are always like just one sentence and stuff.

I'm doing quite a bit of Travelling this year and I ended up in Thailand last week. I saw this nice lady and gave her my email. We communicated via hand signs as I couldn't speak Thai much and she doesn't speak English.

Until now she hasn't emailed me. What can I do to contact her?

Please do not misread my intentions as I'm trying to make friends from Thailand as I'll be based there for quite a while in 6-7months time.

I've currently flown out of Thailand and will be back in 6-months.

Any suggestions on how to contact her? I've her name and well I know where she works, which is at a shop in the mall, which does not have a number for me to call!

I really want to try keep in contact with her.

7 years ago, i met this girl in the neighbourhood. We were all young then, and i tried talking to her sister. Approached her sister wrongly, which kind of scared her (thats what i think). So well, i got a dressing down from her.

I met her on the bus 2 days ago, after not seeing her for 4 years. I sort of recognised her so i approached her and we spoke. She asked if i was the one who approached her sister when we were kids, i denied (cause i'm kind of ashamed.). I came across her Facebook after getting her name and now i'm wondering if i should message her and ask if she would like to help out at an event since she's interested in this field.

However, i'm worried that she may either: 1) Accept, and start spreading about what i did as a kid, and spoil my reputation.

Or

2) just spread my info online.

Why i want to ask her is because she told me she has interest in this field and i think it will aid her in her career. (furthermore, i need a couple of helpers..)

So what do you think? Should i ask her?

When pressure washing the area around a pool, sho I be concerned about the dirt from the floor such as moss and algae entering the pool? How about te use of detergent when cleaning?

If so how can I prevent it from happening? Thanks!

I have 2 brothers and i'm the middle child, 17 years old.

I stay at home with my dad while my mum and brothers stay with my grandma, come back home on weekends.

I really feel that my parents spoil my older and younger brother. My opinions are always unheard, although i do the most work, like when buying a car, younger was the main guy. Buying a boat, older brother was the one. My opinions, just thrashed to one side.

Today at the dinner table, my mum was talking about my cousin and how my younger brother should treat him better. Then i casually said "oh, i don't care, i don't live there anymore.." He replied " i like living there and at least i get good food." sarcastically. I got mad and was like telling my mum, and she was PROTECTING HIM! Which made me really mad.

There were shouts and others and when my dad came, he immediately shouted at me asking whats wrong with me, as usual, whenever something happens.

(I used to live with my grandma too but i never got enough food- cause they never prepare enough, so i end up being left out of the food. and was controlled by people there, so i moved. Apparently now, they get good food.)

I talked to them before, but nothing changes. And its not like i'm expecting them to treat me good, but at least just show me that i have a standing you know...

Hi guys,

My dad is looking at purchasing a boat, which will NOT be used regularly.

Where i'm at, we're not allowed to trail the boats so my dad's preferred method of keeping the boat will be to dock it in the sea, for convenience so he can go down to the boat whenever he wants to. His looking at a 20+ footer, mainly for fishing and relaxing.

I'm wondering if he should go for the i/o or outboard since his docking it in the sea and will not be using it often.

Also i'm unsure of the maintanence costs of the 2 different types of motors.

The boat will be used maybe once a month to go out to sea, or at most 2, and the rest of the time my dad intends to just relax on the boat.

I asked a qn about trolling rapalas a while ago, and i tried it out today!

GOT A HUGE BARRACUDA! My first, and it was huge, frankly, i got scared when i saw it. It was at least 6 feet and i fought it for quite awhile. Really Exciting!! I'm still excited.

But anyway, we didn't have a gaff, and we tried to net it, and it tore our net, but that was the only thing we had on board. Its head was above the water and i was gonna use the lip grip to grip it, but it shook its head, tore the net and sliced through my 50lb fluro leader.

It got away, but well what a great fight!

Now, i'm concerned if the barracuda will die, cause you know, my rapala is probably still on him.

So do tell me what its odds of surviving are.

We've been together for a year and a half. Happy and great for a year. Not so for the past 6 months. Reason being i've became much busier and have no time for her. So basically, i've neglected her for the past 6 months. She's been real patient with me and treats me nice even though.

I know i'll be busier in time to come, so i had a talk with her today and i broke up with her, considering the fact that i would be selfish to ask her to stick to me. I cried, cause its like i only realize how much i'll miss her and how much i love her after we broke up and i was leaving.

And you know what? She understood that i have priorities like school and life goals, and she replied " Don't be sorry, if i had life goals, i would have probably done the same."

I'm so upset now...
