why cant C6 H12 O6 just be written as C3 H6 O3, or C2 H4 O2 or just C H2 O? am i missing something really vital here? eplain please :(

i've never had much of a taste for good music - i like what i like really, from nicki minaj to the beatles.

but, you see, i'm going to band practice with a friend (their doing a sound check) and they wanted me to come along.

The thing is, that they're all into these proper ''indie'' bands (not tumblr indie!! thank god!), like Led Zepplin, who, to be honest, i have never heard one of their songs.

I'm really out of touch with the more quiet bands like you me at six and paramore (yes, i know them! i'm not that bad aha)

so, could you name a couple of rock/band/indie bands? i'm not conforming really, i hate it, but i dont wanna look like a **** lol :')

Imagine a box, 3m by 3m. That's the size I'm working with. I don't know what colour to paint it or whether to have wallpaper. I'm mid teens and I'd like something modern and classy. I like doing colour schemes but with four flat walls it doesn't tend to work well. I'm really, really stuck.Someone creative, please help me!!!

Hey guys, just a quick one :)

There is a teacher (no, I don't fancy him/ love him etc) but I do really appreciate him. He is such a lovely guy even in class and we have had a few out of class discussions. We get on well, but I am nothing special to him really.

He puts so much effort into teaching my class but all they do is F about and put him down and quite frankly take the P out of him. He gets so exasperated with our class and it seems like only a few of us pay attention, but it seems Im the only one who respects him. Teaching teenage girls is a hard job for a guy like him.

They completely disrespect him and I know that it can annoy him quite a bit, but he is still good to us and still teaches us. He doesn't get angry because then he knows it won't help anything, so I guess he's a little trapped.

I really want to find a way of telling him without sounding like a teenage girl that's obsessed with him. Okay, yeah, I moved to his class about a term or two ago, but that's because he is a brilliant teacher (class mates have... Other ideas) so if I say anything then he would probably think I'm clingy and desperate, which I'm not. I respect him a lot. Teachers in general put effort into the powerpoints and lessons and activities etc, but for only a few teachers seem to get any respect at all from the class and it's very weird because I go to a grammar school, ad you'd've thought we'd be more sensible. I'm writing a book and i cant think of a name for my main characters. The man is a fairly average guy and the Girl (not related) is also fairly average. By average i mean not rich, not poor. The guy gets called by his surname a lot and i can't seem to find a good surname.

I met a guy on holiday and at first i was adamant that we were no more than friends, though he did earn some points when he kept wrapping his arm round my waist when we walked together. We were with loads of other people (our age, roughly) and he didn't seem to care at all. I only had a week there, and that was the first night i saw him. We met up again by coincidence on the last full night and i finally kissed him (omg it was the most romantic thing... at night, beautiful gardens, everyone having a great time). We were both so happy but also sad that it was just the last night, and on the last night we had to get together, and i blame myself for that. We met again in a park the next day a few hours before i was meant to leave, with all the other people, and he didn't seem to care everyone was watching us. He was so sweet and only a few times did we properly kiss, it was mostly incredibly cute pecks on the lips. Best kisser.

Guys my age are stupid, so it's fitting that he is 2 years older than me. He is mature and kind and funny and flirty...sigh...(notice how i dont care what he looks like, though he's quite cute)

So now im back home, and we both miss eachother like shizzle, and we were both happy when i found out that going back next year is definatley on the cards. But only for a day.

What do you do when you only have a day with this amazing guy? I dont want to let this go because i will never find a guy like him again, especially not over here. He knows already how to treat me because it's in his nature.

What would be the best way of making it the best day for both of us?

well, im emailing my exchange partner, but i need to tell them 'I will be your exchange partner' but in spanish, and i keep trying all the websites for 'exchange partner' but every one i search and translate with always says totally different things!

ive figured out the first bit 'estare tu........' and i have no trouble with the rest or the paragraph, its just 'exchange partner' i dont know how to say, which is the key to the rest of the paragraph!!

Ok, so to start with i should clearly state ** I AM NOT INVOLVED IN ANY PART OF THIS** i do not fancy a teacher, nor does any fancy me, i just want to know some more on the issue. What, apart from the obvious (losing their job) is so bad? is it the age gap? The power imbalance? Taking advantage of a particular situation?

I want to know because i just want to know why people have a go at people who even fancy their teachers? You cant help who you like, and its a free country? What if the student and teacher are responsible and the relationship (flirting for example) is only outside of school? Are there any circumstances, where it is acceptable?

i have no clue what im doing- could you explain it please? and also, how do i do fraction powers?

i have explained this to friends many times- and i want to see if i do have a point.
