  • New graphics card, no display?

I just bought an Nvidia Geforce 240 GTS and plugged it into the computer I own. Problem is whenever the graphics card is plugged in, my monitor doesn't display anything. Is there a video guide, or at least a good written one available anywhere that can help me fix this? Thanks in advance for any help.

  • Where can I find estate sales?

Is there a common place to find adds for estate sales in an area? Are they typically held at someones house or an auction? Thanks I appreciate any help because I hear you can find a lot of old vintage rifles (something I collect) at these and I would like to know how you find them.

  • Do any companies still produce automatic weapons in the US?

From my understanding automatic weapons can no longer be imported, but can they be made in country? Do any companies even make them? How much would one cost. I am not some fanatic that wants to kill people, I simply want to the answer to this question. I just happen to be a person who enjoys guns who has no intention of shooting at anything other than a paper target! Thanks for your help guys! And please, no political/Anti-American crap.

  • Is Spearhead Militaria any good for WWII German uniforms?

Spearhead is a company that sells reproduction German uniforms and I was wondering if anyone else has any experience with them. Are they historically accurate? Also, do they do combined shipping prices? Thank you to anyone who helps! (I am a reenactor, NOT a Nazi)

  • How much is my King brand Trombone worth?

I have this trombone just sitting around I would like to sell it. It is in very good shape and shows only minor wear. Only 1 ding could be found and it was very, very minor. Its in a great case and has the mouthpiece, slide oil, grease, and cleaning tools. Again, this instrument is in quite fine shape. How much can I expect to get for it and what would be the best way/place to sell? Thanks to anyone who can help!

  • How should I refinish my Mosin-Nagant 91/30?

I have a very typical Mosin from 1943 and it has shellac that just looks like hell at this point. Its been chipped away at. I would like to refinish the stock, but I'm worried because the wood underneath the shellac is honestly terrible looking. Another problem is I don't know how difficult it will be to remove the shellac on it. What would you recommend I use to stain or finish the wood with to make it look nice? I'm really afraid I'm going to make this look worse than it was to start with and I can't stand to have a bad looking gun! Thank you for any help I receive!

  • Where can I download the "old" game Men of Valor for free?

I remember playing that game years ago on my original Xbox and really enjoying it. As far as I am aware the company that made it is no longer around so is it abandon wear? I realize this wasn't the most popular game made, so if you've never heard of it could you still recommend an abandon wear site that has relatively new games? Thanks!

  • Was the average German citizen aware of the Holocaust during WWII?

There was a debate going on today in my English class between a student and the teacher where the student claimed that not every knew the Holocaust was happening and the teacher claimed they did. I personally agreed with the student. Can anyone tell me or post a link in support or against this? Also, I would also like to know if everyone in the Wehrmacht knew as well. Thanks!

  • Why do many WWII guns have receivers that have been cut in half?

I have noticed that many WWII guns that are being sold have been cut often into three pieces on the receiver. My question is why?! I would love to add guns like the STG44 to my WWII guns collection, but they have been ruined! Do any of you know if they can be restored and put back together? Can you weld it back? I really don't care all that much about shooting the gun again, it may sound odd but I just like to collect these interesting pieces of history. Thank you for any intelligent answers!

  • How reliable is a Jeep Liberty after 100,000 miles?

I have been putting a lot of research into this car, and I intend to make it my first car. I need to know what kinds of problems any of you have run into after 100,000 miles. This car is supposed to last me through the rest of high school and through college. I won't be too picky on this because I know no car is going to be perfect, but it needs to be fairly reliable. Any problem any of you guys have had, or better yet not had, would be appreciated! Just tell me if you've been satisfied with this vehicle please. Thank you in advance for any answers!

  • Will David Gilmour (guitarist from Pink Floyd) be doing anymore tours in the United States?

He is my absolute favorite musician, and I'm really hoping someone knows if he will visit us in the U.S. I'm afraid he may not tour anymore since Richard Wright (keyboard/piano) died last year. Thank you VERY much for any answer!

  • Why is everyone so worried about Obama taking away guns?

I'm not taking a side here because I honestly am not the most informed person on this matter. I constantly hear republicans getting all worked up and yelling "Obama is going to take away our guns!" I'm just wondering where they got this idea. I'm not saying it doesn't exist, but I have not ever heard Obama mention taking away guns. Then again, I'm not really up-to-date on politics. So could someone cite a resource quoting him saying anything of the sort? Also, he's the president, not a dictator. I don't understand how he could single-handedly "take away our guns." I am an avid gun collector myself. Again I would like to add that I'm trying not to be biased here, I'm honestly wanting to know if there is any credibility to this.
