So as you probably know, Apple just unrolled the new IPhone 5. The price of the older version 4S has been slashed to 99. When would be the best time to buy the 4S? Should I wait until the price drops lower or buy it now?

My 2 year old Shih-Tzu swallowed a cooked pork bone, NOT a rib, about an hour ago. She is about ten lbs and the bone, although not particularly sharp, was an 1.5 inches long and .5 inches thick and HARD. I am extremely worried!

I have read that many dogs digest bones without a problem. However, I have also heard so many things about how cooked bones shatter and can perforate digestive lining. Apparently chicken bones are the worst, closely followed by pork bones.

She swallowed it whole, but even if there are no sharp edges, I feel that the bone was large enough to obstruct her bowel functions.

Shih-Tzu seems fine now, she swallowed that bone easily with no choking, and I have fed her some white rice as per internet suggestions. I know the signs that something is wrong (vomiting, white gums, loss of appetite) but how long do I need to watch for? I have heard conflicting answers, ranging from 72 hour danger zone to dogs who have been fine for days then weeks later are affected and then need surgery.

Should I try to induce vomiting or something? What can I do for her now? She is my first dog, and I am kicking myself for being so careless. Please help!

Is "As a hospital volunteer" a misplaced modifier because it refers to "my original purpose" instead of an actual person?
