Why is the Lisa Nowak, the diaper wearing astronaut, stalking and assault case taking so long to get to trial?
Lisa Nowak is the female astronaut that drove 1000 miles to confront (read assault) her boyfriends new main squeeze. Over two years later she's still walking around free and a pretrial hearing of the case is not scheduled until June 22, 2009. This all happened in Feb of 2005. Is this such old news has the public lost interest? Do the wheels of justice always grind so slowly?

Thank you for reminding me of that story. I was just recollecting that story because I got some adult diapers from goodwill for my nephews kids on the hopes that one of his kids or someone he knows could use them. He asked me why I even bought them and I said something about driving somewhere and not having to stop to use the restroom LOL like that lady...Ok I digress, but I'm gonna google that to get refreshed.

"This female astronaut ... tried to kidnap and murder another NASA engineer, who was her romantic rival. She put on a wig and attacked the other woman with pepper spray and a BB gun, after driving 900 miles from Houston to Orlando, Florida, in diapers, so she wouldn't have to stop to pee. She drove 900 miles wearing diapers, thus breaking the old record set by Larry King." --Jay Leno
