will the USA "take care" of its health care system?
well, i'm not American, i also don't want to be one.
I was watching TV when they showed a video of a woman being kicked out of a car in front of a charity like place, when they talked to her they discovered that she is a 70 yr old woman that was kicked out of a hospital because she didn't have money. It's not only about health care system, it's about humanity, how can u do that to a person?
the USA may have advanced technology but what does that help americans with if having medical attention costs usually more than the income of an average american?
in many countries, including third world countries"as u call them", people go into hospitals for free, Canada, Britain,France,Cuba(the devil's house as u call it). in fact Cuba has such a great system that it also helps other "third world countries" in this area
let's talk about us, the Barbarian arabs, in iraq u get medical care for free.. at the times of Saddam, he used to give each family food every two months that is enough for them.
let's talk about the "first world countries". in Britain, u get medical attention for free except for some cases. There are cashiers in hospitals there, but guess what? they don't take money, they give money to people if they don't have money to go home!!
Having free medical care and paying more taxes for that doesn't mean socialism will be the way u live, it just means (help others so they help u when u r in need)
I think that America is a great nation without good leadership.
don't get me wrong i'm not (Anti-America) person. I just don't like u guys.

i'm telling u to think not how to think
Ws
if u pay more taxes to help other ppl now, if in the future "god forbids" u have cancer, they will take care of u for free, and the money u paid for taxes will come back to u in that way.
it's better than paying taxes to enter wars

i agree with u about the (gold age) and about concidering about Obama as the savior.
but in those countries u can get medical care for free if u were poor, only those who have money go to private hospitals
what is going to happen if all the hospitals in Austrailia are private?
regerugg...
u said the hospital must treat the poor?
there was an american man on TV that cut two of his fingers accidently, when he went to the hospital they told him that one of them costs 12000 $ and the other costs 60000$ to put it back, u have to choose which one u can afford. is that what u call free health care for the poor?
i didn't say it was totally for free, i said the tax payers afford it, and get the benifit when they r sick.
those canadians that came to the usa had the money and didn't want to be put on a waiting list

i agree that the insurance companies are big part of ur problem

oh u r VERY wrong, individualism will be good for the rich and the ones who have the money, it is very bad for the poorer ones.
here is the result of what will happen, there will be more rich people and more poor peopls but less people in the middle so there will be a gap in the middle and the poor will revolute against the rich, and ur country will go upside down.It will be like the new feudal system.
i'm not saying that america should be social.
but individualism doesn't help.
fortheim...
socialism is wrong, there should be varities of peoples in a country, if we are all the same, who will lead? who will clean the streets. It's wrong.
But capitalism is also wrong, countries that follow this system ends up by revolutions that search for socialism.
all i'm saying is, people should help each others
and let's think.
if u pay 10 or 20 or 30... extra dollars , multiply that by the population of the USA, it will be a number that will help the poor and the rich to get medical health for free.
This is all i'm saying
Belle
i just wanted to say that u r 95% right
the other 5% is for u saying that u r emarrassed to be american, it's part of ur nation's probelm
to be honest i didn't expect some of the answers, one said(we r individuals, who doesn't have the money should die). that's what i understood and i'm deeply shocked.
it's not the leadership that is the problem, it's also the people.
