2.)  Solve the proportion:  x/9 = 4/x

10.) The variables x and y vary directly. Use 
    the given values to write an equation that relates x and y.
    x = 5, y = 25

15.) Simplify the expression if possible 2x^2 - 4x / x - 2

17.) For what values of the variable x is the rational
    expression undefined:  8/(x + 2)

18.) Simplify the expression 5x/2 * 1/x

19.) Simplify the expression 12x/5 / 6x/7

20.) Simplify the expression:  14/(3x) + (x+5)/(3x)

21.) Simplify the expression:  4/(x+2) - 3/(x+2)

22.) Simplify the expression:  3/x + 2/x^2

24.) Divide 15x^2 + 10x - 5 by 5x

25.) Divide x^2 + 3x - 18 by x - 3

take 2x common frm nr thf x-2 gets cancelled
17]-2 because -2+2 =0
18]5/2
19]14/5
20]19+x/3x
if u dont mind id like to know you are in what grade
21]1/[x+2]
22]3x+2/x^2
24]3x+2-[1/x]
25]x+6 because eq gets fctrzed to x+6 x-3

17) if x= -2, since it would cause 8/(-2+2) or 8/0.
