You used the word "if" in your question and that opens up the discussion to "if" 'Isa (Jesus) actually did die on the cross. In Islam there are two views on this. First that he did not die but was close to death when removed from the cross. He subsequently recovered and migrated to what is now Eastern Afghanistan. The second view is that he was smuggled out of Jerusalem by his companions and that someone else took his place to save his life.
Be that as it may, what you are asking is to reconcile an irreconcileable mystery. This mystery is at the heart of many people's distrust of religion. But mystery is not something that can be answered with the rational mind. The answer only lies in the heart, as soon as we try to answer it with our mind it becomes confused and rejects. But when we ask with our heart then the way becomes clear.
Do you, in your deepest part of your heart, belive that it is ok to sin? To murder? To steal? To heart other human beings? To commit adultery or fornication? No, I believe that in your heart you know the answer. If Jesus did die for our sins then God must feel that sinning is bad enough to show us unequivocally that it is so. And that we must, as God's vice-regents (from Quran) on earth, behave in a way that is without sin as much as we can.
But we are human, and as humans we will make mistakes and fall into sinning. When that happens we must remember our God and ask for God's forgiveness and turn back to the right way. If remembering the death of Jesus on the cross helps you to do that, than the purpose of that death is served.
Peace and Blessings,
Salim

Adam and Eve sinned contained in the backyard. God provided a coat of skins to conceal up the certainty that sin further. (Genesis 3:21 Unto Adam additionally and to his spouse did our lord god make coats of skins, and clothed them.) The skins could have come from an animal being sacrificed (by potential of God). This types the muse of a blood sacrifice for the remission of sins. The Levitical regulation follows this precedent, and that's the regulation that Jesus got here to fulfill. Jesus is the only suited sacrifice for the sin(s) of mankind. The Levitical regulation additionally required a suited specimen to be sacrificed.

Yes Jesus paid for your sins on the cross but if you are looking for an excuse to sin then you don't know Him. And I suggest you look into the issue of knowing Him as Saviour.

I am by no means a Bible beater nor do I believe in "organized religion" such as being Catholic, Mormon, Baptist, etc. I simply believe in what the Bible says. What Jesus dying on the cross means God loves us so much he sent his only son to die for our sins so we don't go to Hell. The only duty is to truly believe in your heart Christ was the Son of God...John 3:16 "for God so loved the World he gave his only begotten son, who believeth in him shall have everlasting life"...meaning if you believe in Christ (not a higher power) you will go to Heaven. In addition to 'believing' in this, there comes into play The Holy Spirit which is the feeling of conviction, remorse etc for our sins. If you ask for forgiveness when you 'sin' and therefore feel bad AND believe with no uncertainity what I mentioned about Christ being the Son of God that is all it takes...being a Christian is a lifestyle not something you do once a week though. God loves us, wants the best for us every person in the world and all it takes in believing in Him. God is not about being a kill joy or meaning you can't act like a normal person...there's fanatics out there with any religon. Al-Qudia us an example of extreme Muslim believers, definitely not the mainstream in regard to the Muslim belief system.
If you are REALLY curious about this stuff rent the Mel Gibson movie the Passion of the Christ...people who are highly respected in ALL relgious organizations agree with its authenticity as far as what actually happened 2000 yrs ago. Jesus Christ was a real person and died a horrible death and so did his followers whether or not you believe in him being the son of God. If after watching that and knowing it's not a Hollywood made up movie and you don't feel something in your heart about an answer to your question, I'd be surprised. Going to church is another idea but there's many Christians which completely turn people off. Personally, I think it's best to do your own research from people you feel are educated and know what they are talking about and follow what you feel is right in regard to spititual belief.
Best of luck to you. I just wanted to give you an answer to your question. I don't think anyone can force someone to believe something in their hearts so trying to do that is pointless, so I don't push anything on anyone.

No. Those who follow God and His son, Jesus, know not to sin. The fact that he died for us doesn't mean that we can just go out and sin because we are forgiven. Talk with your local pastor or church for more details on that.

no! when we accept Jesus in our heart, He forgives us the sins we committed before that. Once we turn our life over to him, we then are held accountable for the sins we commit afterwards, we should know better and can not hide behind the cloak of grace to justify our sins

Yes and no. His sacrafice does pay the price for all of our sins. But in order to recieve his forgiveness you must accept him and invite Him into your heart. When you do that, he fills you with the Holy Spirit and so much peace, joy and love, you can't imagine, much less desccribe it. You feel his forgiveness and you begin to know Him personally. The experience is so incrediable, once it happens to you, you'll never want to sin again. Of course you still will because no one is perfect, but when you do you'll feel bad and repent and he'll forgive you again. As your love for him grows, so will your hatred of sin. Therefore you will not want to sin.

no I wish it were that easy. but If you know about his sacrifice, and accept him as your God, then you should be living the life of a christian, and 110% of the time make sure your sins are not on purpose. I mean we are human so everyone sins, but If you know you are sinning, then you are going against god. He gave his life for you in love, so you give your life to him in love, but not like suicide or death. give up sin and take the life he offers you. it says a couple places in the bible that you cannot use repentance as a barganing chip whenever you are in trouble.

Well, there probably is a certains percentage of interest on the sins, inflation in costs, I'm sure the value of a sacrifice isn't worth as much these day, it looks like we're gonna have to sacrifice more sons of god thes days to break even.

It's a "Catch-22"
God has given you freewill. You may do whatever ya wanna. If ya git caught, the judge will tell you what to do.
If'n ya don't git caught, there is still Judgment Day. God will not be mocked.
Those who love God & follow The Way of His Torah-Observant Son, the Messiah & will seek to do His will... resulting in good works.
So, it's a self-rectifying situation. Divine Justice will prevail.
