My Vampy top 10 - in order:
1. Interview With The Vampire (1994)
2. The Lost Boys (1987)
3. Nosferatu (1922)
4. John Carpenter's Vampires (1998)
5. Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992)
6. Shadow Of The Vampire (2000)
7. Fright Night (1985)
8. From Dusk 'Til Dawn (1996)
9. The Vampire Lovers (1970)
10. Blade: Trinity (2004)
Note: Given what I've heard from others I wouldn't rank Interview first if I had read Anne Rice's novels - but I haven't so cinematically I think it stands out. Along with Murnau's Nosferatu of course but I always find movies of that era hard to rank for a modern eye.
Was a bit surprised the culty Ingrid Pitt-breastfest at no. 9 was the only Hammer-production to make the list. Although they scared me to bits as a kid, sadly I can't really tell the Christopher Lee Draculas apart so they get the 11th spot.
The Blade I & II, Van Helsing and Underworld movies of late can share that. They kick action behind, great fast paced rides and just as quickly forgotten.
And finally, the best movie ever with a vampire in it is The Reflecting Skin (1991). Freaky nightmarish indie flick! If you catch that you'll understand why it's not on this list. ;-)

The best: (Most of these make people's top 10) 10. Wickerman (Original): The remake pales in comparasion to the original british film, the last five minutes will have your head spinning. 9. Freaks: A very bizarre and disturbing film. When it first came out, many people left the theater due to being very freaked. 8. Rosemary's Baby: A disturbing film, the dream sequence is very freaky. 7. Henry-Portrait of a Serial Killer: A disturbing and bloody look into the life of a serial killer. Based on true events. 6. Eraserhead: The god father of all disturbing horror movies. 5. Hellraiser: A unique storyline and creepy atmosphere makes this a goody. 4. Audition: A very creepy and dark film, starts out like a romance, but quickly changes that. 3. The Vanishing (European Version): A dark and grim movie, the ending will mess you up. 2. Last House on the Left: Wes Craven's first film was his most graphic and creepy. 1. Irreversible: One of the best, but also very disturbing and graphic. Many find it unbearable. The Worst: House of the Dead: Every copy should be burned. Jaws 4- The Revenge: A mix of dumb, lame and crap. Put the last nail in the Jaws series' coffin. Halloween - Resurrection: Argh, Busta Rhymes does kung fu kicks on Mike Myers and Jamie Lee Curtis dies. Gingerdread Man: The name says it all, its the brain child of some kook. Night of the Bloody Apes: Ok, a scientist's son has a bad heart, so he replaces it with an ape's.....and he turns into a dumb looking sex crazed man ape. Sigh. Erotic Nights of the Living Dead: Not by George Romero. This movie is all sex with zombies and i am going to stop there. Basket Caset: Horrid pile of garbage with a side order of bad acting. Its about a mutated twin is only a small lump of flesh..yet somehow is able to move and use a knife! Frankenhooker: A man builds a woman out of dead hooker parts. Awfulness ensues. Quiltface: If the trailer does not turn you off, you need a catscan. Blood Sucking Freaks: Where do I begin? The "director" has no idea how to make a movie, and the movie itself is nothing but a cheese fest. This is the kind of movie that makes you wish this stuff would stop.
