Who here prefers a real photo over an avatar?

I prefer real photos, people who hide behind their avatars are just cowards. I once started out with an avatar, but realized I may not be taken seriously....sometimes I still am not, but oh well, right?

I looked at your other question, more out of curiosity than boredom, and no you shouldn't feel that way. There is someone for everyone. Stay positive!!

I just don't want to make a yahoo 360 page which seems to be the only way to put your own picture up. I chose the avatar because the gray smiley box seems shady.

I just do not really think it is safe for a woman to be posting her picture all over the internet (especially on singles sites). Plus too many people judge by appearances only. Yahoo!answers is supposed to be about what you say or ask---not about how you look.

Your sooo right they totally think they can write or say they want because they don't have a picture I've seen some pretty mean thing that can hurt someones feelings or offend someone so i don't answer most people; like them questions!!!! Their Meanies!!! But if you actually show your real picture more power to you!!!!!!!

Avatar is cuter and more mysterious.. Sometimes without knowing what does a person look like is nore challenging right? U need to judge and imagine what does him/her look like through his/her answer! Fun!

i show my doggy because he looks like a gremlin but is a big softy.he is gorgeous and i like to show him off.if it is a relationship you are looking for then you need to try something else ie take up a hobby or go for a walk and meet people in the flesh.

no. i don't want a bunch of crazy people sending me wierd messages. i like the avatars better. and i give good answers sometimes...but sometimes i feel like i look like everyone else!
