The girl's mother had Dr. Phil find the daughter. The show presented the fiasco that ensued in all its ickyness. One of the scenes shows the mother and the sister going into the shower while Amanda is naked. They are trying to retrieve her cellphone

I saw it, and as a parent of a thirteen year old daughter I was disturbed by it. The parents and older daughter were going about what they needed to accomplish entirely the wrong way.
I can't believe Dr. Phil didn't do something to intervene....and what were those camera people thinking as they were filming the insanity of it all(?).
If I had been there, I believe I would have said something to just make them separate and back away. They were clearly involved in a power struggle, and it was a lose-lose situation...
They whole thing was just a mess.
