Who is the First Farmer in the Bible?

Cain. See Genesis 4:2

Adam was the first farmer and gardener. He was told by God to till the land and that's what he did.

His first son, Cain followed his footstep.

Gen 4:2 Later she gave birth to another son, Abel. Abel became a shepherd, but Cain was a farmer. (GNB)

Gen 4:2 And she again bore his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. (KJV)

I know alot of you think Cain, but its Adam. (Genesis 3:17-19)

To Adam he said, "Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, 'You must not eat of it,'

through painful toil you will eat of it

all the days of your life.

18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you,

and you will eat the plants of the field.

19 By the sweat of your brow

you will eat your food

until you return to the ground,

since from it you were taken;

for dust you are

God told Adam to tend the garden...........so Adam would be the first farmer
