Should people clearly displaying signs of eating disorders be excluded from asking about weight loss on Y!A?
I love fitness, and I love Y!A, but I hate finding piles and piles of posts from anorexic, bulimic, and other eating disordered individuals seeking (unhealthy) weight loss advice on the Diet & Fitness board.
While it is not technically against Y!A guidelines (yet), do you believe that these posts should be removed by moderators to prevent people from engaging in potentially lethal behavior?
Or is it a free speech issue, and that people should be allowed to self-harm as they please, and that the Internet community should be allowed to aid and abet this kind of behavior?

Hopefully people will point out that their behavior is dangerous instead of encouraging it.

Well, technically their questions are breaching the terms of the yahoo service, so they can be reported and their posts removed. It's not healthy for them to continually post questions on here, often receiving not particularly helpful replies.

maybe by people asking these questions they will get enough responses telling them to go to a doctor and get help.
