Does Quinoa have calcium?
I read an article that said it has a lot of calcium, but when I went to the store to buy it, the nutrition label says Calcium 0%. This is not the first time I've seen a nutrition label contradict something that is said about a food and the nutrients it contains. Does anyone know why? Is there really none, or only none that's been tested?

According to the National Agricultural University of Peru Quinoa has 94 mg of calcium for every 100 grams of the cereal, which is about 9.4% of the recommended daily intake (1,000 mg per day). Why it is not included in the label of the product you are buying is a mystery.

Quinoa has 2% of the days requirement of calcium. In other words, not much. But it is loaded with iron and phosporous.
