Quit the job or file a complaint to the better business bureau. Emotional abuse is not cool, and if someone's a prick it is not you problem to handle it.

A job is doing things. If you can keep your self busy & get the things done that are expected of you you are well on the way to being a good worker.

If the boss always seems to be on you to get things done you may not be picking up on just what your job or duties are.

It may be that you don't show incentive & wait to be told every thing you do.

If you under stand the importance of the different tasks you do & you are able to do the important things in a timely fashion, & don't wait to be told what to do next you will soon find that the boss will be spending less time ranting on you.

Why is he ranting on you? Are you a slacker?

If not, just take it in stride.

If he does it in front of others, then I would ask to speak w/ him privately, and let him know that this is under no circumstances appropriate. Also, if you think it's personal, or that he treats you less than, I'd be very frank w/ him and try to find out what his problem is, does he think you are incompetent? Doesn't like you for some other reason? I think these things are important know.

To handle it, I'd talk to another co-worker or friend (whom you trust about it) I'd also, start running or doing things in your free time that make you feel good and help alleviate stress.

Go to therapy to get it out. Get massages on a regular basis. Meditate. Go for drinks w/ friends, but if it starts taking up a bunch of space in your head, I'd say it's time to start looking for another job. Good luck.

Analyze and evaluate the situation. Be honest with yourself. Are you working below par or is your boss unfair. If he is the latter, there is no reason why you should continue working for that business.

A good boss will always try to develop people to their potential without being rude and dictatorial. If you don't have that potential a good boss will terminate your services. I hope this helps.

    Peace and every blessing!

Life is to short to put up with a crappy boss. Look around for something better and then if you find something else with at least equal pay explain to him and His boss the reason your leaving.

Smile. Notice little flies in the ceilings and pull yourself and

heave some deep breaths in the count of tens. Massage your inner part of right hand and then massage your inner part of your left hand in count of eights. Next, get a packet of herbal tea and add in some warm water. Listen to soft pipe music. Count the rosary if you may.

Know that you're too cool to be there and go around thinking youre better than everyone else and your boss is an idiot. works like a charm.

Ignore what he's ranting about. Instead... ask him about himself and what's really bothering him. Say: "Jim, is everything all right? You seem very upset. Is everything Ok. " Or.... "Jim, if you're always so unhappy with my work, why haven't you fired me?" Y ou may be surprised at the answer.
