NEED URGENT HELP!!!! my kitty keeps throwing up several times a day....?

My kitty keeps throwing up several times a day. This is not your typical hairball problem. She is 14 yrs old, and until last months she was in very good health. She's been getting worse and worse. I can feel some sort of lumps on her side, but don't know what those might be. She lost a lot of weight, and I suspect she's very dehydrated even though I keep giving her food full of fluids. I can't take her to the vet because she's terrified of cars and noises. what can I do to help her?

sure, You definatly pick a vet if theis has been going on for more desirable than 40 8 hours. what number days in a row has he been throwing up? What foodstuff were you feeding him? I definatly would not make a foodstuff substitute in the time of an ailment because it really is going to upset his equipment even extra. If it were me, after the first 3 vomits in a unmarried 24 hour era, i'd have witheld foodstuff all mutually for 12 hours. If there develop into no vomiting i'd have reoffered foodstuff and examined to make sure if he vomited back. If he did vomit back i'd have had him into the vet without delay. It feels like you've already surpassed the 24 hour mark although so i'd bypass ahead and make a visit to the vet. A cat might want to no longer bypass without foodstuff for more desirable than 40 8 hours because it would want to reason surely organ harm and demise.

Anytime a cat vomits daily for 3 days or more it is time to get your Vet involved asap. Your cat is 14 years old and pre-disposed to many illnesses and needs medical attention asap.

Dehydration is quick in a cat who is vomiting that much. I have a cat rescue and I had a cat that vomited for 2 days and I took her to the vet the second day and found she had pancreatic disease and had been sick a long time even tho she had appeared to be feeling fine and had passed her recent check up with flying colors. We could not save her .DO NOT worry about your cats fear of cars GET IT TO THE VET ASAP. Vomiting that much is a sign of a problem that needs attention.

sounds like shes got a tumor either in her tummy.. or her intestines, but it could be any number of things.. is the lump on her side painful for her? sometimes hairballs get stuck inside the stomach and cant be removed by throwing up so in order to expell the ball of hair surgery is often needed. now how to get her to the vet.. get a kitty carrier. and a towel.. put the town over her gently.. so she cant see anything..cradel her in your arms.. making sure her back feet rest on your arm.then put her in the carrier.. towl around her till she's in there before you shut the door.. take off the towel... then before you go outside with her.. put the towel over the front of it so she cant see out of it very well. this should help you get her TO the vet. once there.. tell them she's got a lump on her side.. and that she's very scared of noises and cars...they will know how to handle her. But you MUST get her there.

You should at least call a vet and see what they say. Maybe they will have some suggestions, or if you explain the situation you can find one that will come out to you. Either way that cat desperately needs a vet.

I don't know a lot about cats but perhaps you could get the vet to come out to you. Sounds like she is suffering from just the general old age. With dogs they do start to lose weight & as she's drinking quite a lot sounds like her organs are packing up. Do get the vet out to you & get his or her advice.

Is she drinking alot of water? Could be diabetes.

Also, hypertyroid is a possibility. You need to have her checked. Better to go the vets and vhoose the lesser of 2 evils

Call the vet and ask them to come over because this is Urgent because my friends cat had the same issue she had to take it to the vet it was sick with a cancer and it died .

Terrified or not, the only one who can help her is a vet. Is there a mobile vet in your area? If not, take her anyway - she needs to go.

my cats are scared to death of car rides too. but this sounds like a trip to the vets. can you get someone to go with you so you can pat and hold your kitty and calm her in the car. if not a carrier is an order. but if it was me id get to the vet.

    good luck
