Your company's HR is the one who issues W-2's to the company's employees. They send it out at the beginning of each year for employees to file their tax returns for the previous year. If you lose the original one they sent you, you should contact HR and they will send you another one. Some companies have policies on when they can send you a replacement. Whether your company posts W-2's on the company's website depends on your company's policy. Anyway, you should always contact HR to get your W-2.
