Kathy Griffin rocks, here is proof!?

The uptight amoral Hollywood sect is cutting Kathy's remarks upon winning her emmy (way to go Kath!)

"A lot of people come up here and thank Jesus for this award. I want you to know that no one had less to do with this award than Jesus," an exultant Griffin said, holding up her statuette. "Suck it, Jesus. This award is my god now."

Asked about her speech backstage a short time later, an unrepentant Griffin added, "I hope I offended some people. I didn't want to win the Emmy for nothing."

I just love her, she says what she means and isn't p.c. ever!

This would be a huge step for Atheists if the darn awards committee actually let it be shown, so of course they aren't.

So, do you love this, or will you condemn her to hell?

Update:

John: people dis my beliefs every single day. And insult my intelligence. I don't care they are entitled to that, THIS IS AMERICA...

Update 2:

classystyle: Jesus is not the "holy spirit" he is the son, (father, son, holy spirit).

And since god created man, and man was given a sense of humor, wouldn't it stand to reason that god would find her funny too?

There is no more hypocritical sect of people than catholics. First off the Holy Spirit is not Jesus, catholics cannot even get their beliefs straight. Griffins right, a lot of TV, film, athletes give praise to Jesus and don't even know the first thing Jesus stood for. They accept and then go home to their million dollar mansions, that's just what the bible taught. I'm not Catholic in any way but I was forced to endure 12 years of catholic school hypocrisy. Catholic people teach forgiveness yet if you aren't catholic, or you question anything about it, then you're scum condemned to hell. I was assaulted by a nun when in 6th grade for pointing out and asking about contradictions in bible text. I've never really considered myself an atheist but after all the crap I read about throughout the world I really am feeling like the world would be so much happier without religion. Catholics kill for their beliefs too, it isn't just Muslims. Some of the most murderous people the world has ever known were popes, just do some research. Pedophiles, murderers, thieves and downright evil people have all been part of the catholic lineage. It's just so sad so many have such blind faith to see it.

Seeing as how I was actually raised as one should be in the Christian Church and actually understand what everything means, all I can say is from the Ten Commandments "Thou Shalt Have No Other Gods Before Me." Sorry, Kath, Idolotry may be your bag but I still subscribe to God's ordinances. Oh, and I did say a prayer for you after I heard about you saying that. And BTW, since Jesus is representative of the Trinity, I cross you and God bless.

it would have been better for atheism if she would have stopped at

"A lot of people come up here and thank Jesus for this award. I want you to know that no one had less to do with this award than Jesus"

the rest was offensive enough to get censored

censored words do nothing for us

    atheist

No I don't love it. Why is it acceptable to you for her to say, "Suck it, Jesus. This award is my god now." when she knows that saying so will offend Chrsitians around the world. Would you be acceptable of someone debasing your belief system?

    Matthew 12:31 Amplified bible

Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy (every evil, abusive, injurious speaking, or indignity against sacred things) can be forgiven men, but blasphemy against the [Holy] Spirit shall not and cannot be forgiven.
