Well...i have a weird suggestion.
The logic behind ur depression has to be one of these; either u don't know, wat u want, or u don't know how to achieve wat u want.
But there is a third possibility for all.
That is we never get exactly what we want, & none of us know, y is it so.
So stop wanting...just think that u r an existence, who have to spend endless time, in a meaningless world (apparently).
Find out meaningless methods of spending ur tuime, without expecting them to turn out successful.
B so much depressed, dat depression itself gets depressed out of u.

well the insight you have about yourself is very clear and useful. You are aware of how you feel and the impact it is having, that is a good thing. Many have said speak to your doc and they are right. There are many forms of depression and it is wise to check them out as they are treatable. It will go on how long you have felt like this and what was or is happening when these feelings started. It may be there is no reason and this too can be ttreated. Sometimes we get stuck in life and often with out rrealising it, it may be it is time for a change, something new or rekindle something you haven`t enjoyed for a while. Medication can help but works with other activities best.

Depression = feelings of hopelessness and helplessness, insomnia or hypersomnia, worry, feelings of guilt, sadness, inability to find enjoyment in pleasurable activities....
Depression is a common experience. Some depression occurring right after a traumatic event (eg: death) is pretty common and expected. However, we can also become depressed out of the blue, for what seems like no apparent reason. This is nothing to be ashamed about. There is help available and all you have to do it seek it out. Exercise I have found is one thing that really can help. In people who are depressed certain neurotransmitters are lacking in the brain (there isn't enough of them)...exercise actually releases these very neurotransmitters making you feel healthier and happier.
It almost 'reverses' the depression.
Also make sure you get out and surround yourself with people. Do not become isolated as this can make things worse for you. Be with your friends and family....and if you are lacking friends....go out and make new ones!
Good luck and I hope you start to feel better soon.
