injured back?

i slipped at work and was off for 2 weeks the company gave me full pay would i be entitled to any compensation i went to hospital and got told my back muscle had gone into a spasm and doctor gave me 2 week sick note, colleagues say put a claim in but i dont want to lose my job thru it as ive only been there 4 months. ive still got a niggling pain but went back to work

    they cant fire you for suing them as long as it was there fault and not yours,

    if you claim and they fire you, sue them for unfair dismissal and you will win.

    Since it happened at work, I would think that workers comp. should pay for it. It shouldnt matter how long you have been there. Definately get this checked out though! I had a similar problem. I waited three months to go to the doctor. By the time they found out what it was, I needed back surgery, and now I have permanent nerve damage in my leg and foot. I was only 25 when this happened. Now I cant work, and most days it is very hard for me to get around.

    you got sick pay because that was in your contract

    you can claim compensation so do it it wont affect your firm they will have insurance

    File a Worker's Comp claim now before it is too late.

    you would have to prove without a shaddow of a doubt that it was negligence on their part. if they have paid you and you like you're job i would leave it at that.

    if you are hurt you should file a claim just incase you have problems later, they can't fire you for getting hurt

    do you have a union rep atyour work? if so talk to them as they should beable to help you.
